Brought my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. Food and service was excellent. They gave him a free dessert for his birthday. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. They came around with meats very quickly and the salad bar was pretty good.
Been here a few times, will definitely keep coming back. Experience, food, service, all gets better each time. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Unbearably noisy. We were seated in the middle of the cavernous dining room and I and my three dining companions struggled to hear each other. Our first server came over and when I explained that I couldn’t hear him, he said well I can’t talk any louder because of the music. He came over to my side of the table then but of course he was farther away from my friend across from me. Made no effort to speak louder so that we could properly hear him. He was unconcerned with ensuring we understood his explanation of the process. By the time we left my throat was sore because I had to talk so loud during the evening. We waited close to 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Fortunately we did have other servers who were more eager to provide good service. We went for the “full experience“ and the meat was very good. The cheese bread was also delicious. That’s about where it ended with the food. The salad bar, etc. has gone downhill. My experience is that the quality of the food isn’t what it used to be. I used to enjoy the prosciutto and the Parmesan, but the prosciutto from the salad bar was - well I don’t even know what that was. It certainly wasn’t prosciutto. The Parmesan was also missing. They had a Parmesan type cheese, but again, I’m not sure what it was. The rest of the salad bar items were mediocre. I will remember that when I am ready to drop over $100 a person for a meal with steak as the centerpiece, I’ll be better off at Capital Grille. Disappointing as it used to be a delicious and unique experience. But those previous experiences were in Boston and DC so I don’t know if this experience is specific to the Providence location or not.

I think it is too classy for its location. The food is okay, the atmosphere is fine. I think the light should be a little bit lit.

My son has been telling about this place for a few years now. My sister and I decided to finally try. We reserved for 2, as soon as my son heard we were going he invited himself. They were able to add my son. My son was right, the food the atmosphere the drinks, all worth it.

So not really a "take a pic of food" person, but they gave me a free dessert and a candle plate so I have that. I was shocked to be going to this MASSIVE MEAT place as family knows I'm vegetarian, but I was equally pleasantly surprised to discover a menu catering to people with special diets. ? The food was wonderful. The options were wonderful. I had to call my fellow special diet friends, who were not aware, and let them know. We can have more than sides and the buffet now. My cauliflower steak was delicious ?. So, grateful to be able to eat somewhere I loved eating before I was vegetarian ?
Vegetarian options: They rolled out a separate menu in 2023 and it was extremely impressive.
