Stopped in on a Wednesday night a little bit past 8. Found free parking on a side road but we had to walk a little ways. Not bad considering Providence is a fun/safe city to explore. They do have parking but you have to pay.
$8 cover charge and all the games are free. We made sure to get our $16 worth. Lots of different games both modern and old. Very nice that most games are for 2 players if you’re on a date. A fun spot for the price.
Drinks weren’t strong...
Love the arcade, cover is very reasonable. Love that there is a dance floor upstairs but I hate the music :( it’s mostly like rave music and that’s just not the vibe my friends and I want to dance to at the barcade. If they played just regular songs of any rock/ alt/ pop/ other genres it would be much better but the sound is just usually so bad. Everybody dances for a little bit but then the dance floor fizzles out so there’s definitely a problem.
The place is an absolute blast! Tons of great games, a fun crowd, and plenty of cocktails to be had. The games are mostly old school, shout out to Turtles in Time and Bubble Bobble, and all in good shape. I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan on coming back.
