Ordered a taro milk tea with boba, whole milk, regular sugar and light ice. There’s no way whole milk was in this drink based on how watery and flavorless it is. Boba was also super mushy.

This was the worst bubble tea I've ever had. It was a basic brown sugar milk tea with boba, and it tasted like actual water. The boba was not fresh either. $8 wasted, not worth it. Go to Bubble Tea House on Westminster instead.
I normally love this place, but my husband ordered us two drinks yesterday to surprise me with when he got home. As i was drinking my dirty brown sugar milk tea with Boba, I started feeling this grittiness. Almost like biting down on sugar in your mouth. Except, when I bit down on it, it hurt. I pulled out a thin metal strip out of my drink. I'm not really sure what the process of making these drink entails, so I'm not sure how it got into my drink before they put the sealed top on. But it scared me enough to throw out my drink. I have pictures of it as well, but there's no option to post them. My husband's drink was fine. His had a hard plastic open top to it. Mine had one of the sealed pieces of plastic you need to pierce with a straw.
Im pretty disappointed that we paid for expensive drinks, just to end up with sharp metal in mine. This is the first time something like this has happened.
