This was the worst bubble tea I've ever had. It was a basic brown sugar milk tea with boba, and it tasted like actual water. The boba was not fresh either. $8 wasted, not worth it. Go to Bubble Tea House on Westminster instead.

I normally love this place, but my husband ordered us two drinks yesterday to surprise me with when he got home. As i was drinking my dirty brown sugar milk tea with Boba, I started feeling this grittiness. Almost like biting down on sugar in your mouth. Except, when I bit down on it, it hurt. I pulled out a thin metal strip out of my drink. I'm not really sure what the process of making these drink entails, so I'm not sure how it got into my drink before they put the sealed top on. But it scared me enough to throw out my drink. I have pictures of it as well, but there's no option to post them. My husband's drink was fine. His had a hard plastic open top to it. Mine had one of the sealed pieces of plastic you need to pierce with a straw.
Im pretty disappointed that we paid for expensive drinks, just to end up with sharp metal in mine. This is the first time something like this has happened.

Oohlong boba was so good but took a good 10 minutes wait
Gong Cha at the mall offers a consistently reliable experience with only a short wait at most locations. This time it was a bit longer and it seemed a lot of people had ordered and left for a while so I didn’t realize how many were before me. I enjoyed the Taro with pearls, which was a perfect non-caffeinated treat after a long day of walking. The flavor was refreshing and just the right balance of sweet and creamy. What I appreciate most is that no matter which location I visit, the quality is always the same—predictably great! If you're looking for a quick, satisfying bubble tea, Gong Cha delivers every time. Definitely a go-to spot for a refreshing pick-me-up!

I ordered a caramel milk tea and told the worker I wanted 50% sugar. As he was taking my order, he made me repeat my order multiple times. The service was slow despite there being no line. I tipped him 5% and didn’t receive a thank you. I waited for my drink and watched him make it. When I received my caramel milk tea, it tasted extremely sweet. I have been to this Gong Cha multiple times, and it was never this sweet. The guy who made my drink was someone I did not recognize. I was very upset at the fact it tasted so sweet to the point I had to throw the drink out. I have never thrown out a Gong Cha milk tea without drinking the whole thing. Every time I go, I get the same drink and this was the one time it tasted absolutely awful. I barely drank half of my milk tea. The worker had such slow and unpleasant service. If I were to go back, I would not tip the worker.

I entered into goncha this morning and the employee was very unprofessional, unethical, and was on the phone while she was taking my order and she wrote it down wrong aswell. Not coming back again .

Loved their Classic Pearl Milk Black Tea - regular ice and 70% sweet is sweet enough. She was quick at making, ready in 2 min. I love boba and this is a good one!
