I feel like I was lied to. They literally have like 8 trays of food, the cook doesn’t get there until 11am. The food they had did not taste Puerto Rican at all. Very sad and I would not recommend it!!! I wish I didn’t go and spend $20 on mediocre food.

Excellent Authentic Puerto Rican Food and Seasoning ?? The Service is First Class, The Freshness and Quality of the Food is A+, Reasonable Prices $$ The Place and Bathroom are Clean, You Don't NEED to Go to a Fancy Restaurant, With High $$$ Prices , Neglected bathrooms, slow service and to top it all off, a little or no professional administrator.

2 months since my first review, and I'm still ordering, I wanted a chop like my grandmother's and precisely Gordos as usual Dio in El Palo. Forget that this is the best place for 100% Boricua food and El mofongo is better than any restaurant in Puerto Rico!

As someone from Orlando where there is Puerto Rican food on every corner I can honestly say the food was not good which was disappointing because there aren’t many Puerto Rican spots in Rhode Island. Had the patitas de puerco and there was not a lot of flavor and the rice was hard. It’s not advertised anywhere online that it’s only a part time Puerto Rican restaurant. Additionally, insinuating someone is racist based on an honest review of your restaurant speaks volumes about your willingness to be accountable for your food. I was there and all we were told was that the “cook” doesn’t arrive until 11am. Nothing more nothing less. I wanted mofongo they didn’t have it, wanted many of the items listed on the extensive menu that was advertised at the location itself and none were available. That misrepresentation falls on the establishment not the customer .

Just happened to be browsing thru Grubhub and found this restaurant so ordered a mofongo with camarones, a tripleta and 2 alcapurrias and all I can say it’s the best I’ve had in a long time, will definitely be ordering again
