Gourmet House is an excellent pan-Asian (China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia) restaurant, and is an especially good option on cold and rainy days. They have an large selection of noodle and other soups that you can customize with your proteins of choice.
If you’re not in the mood for soup, their extensive menu is likely to have something else that you’ll enjoy. Note that their shrimp nime chow and chicken nime chow are terrific.
The decor is also eye-catching and makes you feel like you’re dining in an ancient temple surrounded by nature (reminiscent of Angkor Wat). This is also one of the most affordable places to eat on Hope St near the Hope, Mount Hope, and Blackstone neighborhoods.

the crispy thai chili wings are the best!! worth going here alone for them. also got 2 entrees lemon grass stir fry, chow mein stir fry and hot & sour soup-large portions and good flavors. however, unfortunately they forgot my chow mein noodles with the chow mein stir fry! :( that was such a bummer but otherwise the food was very good and ready in only 25 min at 5pm on a friday.

My family and I have been coming here for a while now and it never fails to amaze us!!! The service at this restaurant is spectacular and the food always comes out amazing! Highly recommend the me kathung, lort cha, cha kreung (the cut wings), and the lobster curry. This place will always be a go to for our family and almost everything hits the spot.

Stopped in passing through town and we had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious- unique yet still familiar favorites. The server was super nice and I’m sad I will probably never be back in this part of the country to eat there again, but if I ever am it would be my first stop.

Ok so I’ve been here with my friends: Glenn, Shane & Celeste. A FANTASTIC array of Asian themes dishes. Fresh veggies. Spicy dishes. Salty and sweet. Generous portions and super nice staff. Oh. A HUGE selection of gluten free items (GF) so no reason not to try it out. The menu has like 100 choices. Just love this place. I’m hooked! Thank you GHR for everything you do. 🥡🥣🙏❤️
I used to go to Gourmet House as a kid and recently moved back to the neighborhood. It’s been great to be able to walk over for take out or meet family for a sit down dinner. Went for dinner tonight and it was delicious as always (they make my favorite beef teriyaki). Everyone is very kind and it definitely has a comfortable atmosphere with regular customers.
Dietary restrictions: Menu clearly indicates what items are gluten free or can be requested as gluten free. Lots of options!
