Whenever possible I try to support small, local businesses. I was so excited to find Greenline Apothecary; however, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Since July I've had issues with their lack of response to text messages that they initiated as well as delivery when promised.
My most recent interaction with them was this week. Tuesday at 10am I spoke with someone and provided my updated insurance coverage. I was advised that it would be cheaper to not use my insurance. I was given the price for two scripts. I was promised it would be delivered between 1pm and 7pm that day. Nothing was delivered and I wasn't contacted about any issue. Checking my bank account I was charged a fee that wasn't close to either of the presciptions I was to receive. Checking the on-line portal the prices are difference from what I was told as well.
I called the next morning to be placed on on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up. I tried calling at least three more times to no answer. I texted them. No response. At 3:30pm I drove to the pharmacy. The clerk was very rude. She retrieved my scripts from a bin in the back. She wouldn't explain why at 3:30pm they were still sitting in their pharmacy. At the very least they should have been with a driver for delivery. She simply pushed my prescriptions across the counter and walked away. I'm done with Greenline.

This pharmacy is fantastic. Friendly and top notch customer service. Unlike awful CVS, there is no long “press this or that” to speak to a person. Just press zero and it’s that great. Highly recommend them

I refuse to go to any other pharmacy. Green Line and their staff are amazing. They actually answer the phone, order any med you need if not in stock and even deliver for FREE!!! Only set back is closed on Sunday but you can still order a med via their phone service. Can’t say enough about them!!!

Your (chain) pharmacy: frantic, burned out employees, angry customers, crappy store-brand knockoffs behind a high-security barrier, horrible vibe, ZERO ice cream.
My pharmacy (Green Line, obvsly): independent, lovely pharmacy techs, quality products on open shelves, Norman Rockwell vibes and an old-timey soda fountain.
The pharmacist gives the gentlest flu shots I’ve ever had.
Don’t sleep on Green Line - it’s a gem.

If I could give Hailey more than 5 stars, I would. Her service today, and every day, is absolutely exquisite. Quick to serve, and the food was made with love and care. She is the best soda fountain attendant at the Green Line!

Cute concept but not entirely worth the money. It feels like you are eating in a store, which you are, but how quiet it is makes the experience feel a little awkward. The menu items do not include fries or any other sides and are on the smaller side.

Disappointing ice cream experience. For $5 the single scoop was small and for $3 the "hot" fudge was cold and not much. So an $8 waste of money. Won't come again.

If you're not using this pharmacy, you're missing out on the friendliest, most helpful staff. I've been so amazed by the prices here too. When I temporarily lost my insurance, I was able to get my prescription filled for less than it cost me at CVS when I was covered (and it had nothing to do with my income!)
The rest of the store is quaint, clean, and has a small selection of goods produced locally. I always leave this store feeling proud to live in RI.
