"The Original" Haven Brothers Diner Providence

I'd say definitely come try this place at least once. It was fun to order inside and experience the mobile diner that has been around since 1893. Inside there are photos of movies and shows that have featured the diner, which was fun to see.

It wasn't the best burger I've ever had, but it was big and was good. We had the Original and the After Dark. The Haven style fries were good! My kids really liked the fried dough and churros. Would recommend it for the experience.

Interesting food truck with limited indoor seating. Food was ok. Burger was not my favorite, meat tasted like discount frozen patties. Bun and onion rings were good. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but great for after midnight when everything else is closed....

We waited for 20 minutes and asked about the wait time, but they told us they didn’t know without giving any reason. Since we were in a hurry, we asked about getting a refund, but they said it wasn’t possible without explaining why. They also didn’t mention how much longer we’d have to wait for our order, so we just kept waiting.

33.00 for one burger and fries .. although I ask for 2 burgers and fries for me and my wife. The girl who takes the order told me I pay for what I get

Delicious food. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Definitely worth the walk.

Ordered a mocha shake and a tiramisu shake, both tasted like vanilla shakes...
The fries were decent.
Sadly, this is a far cry from how my last few visits went over a year ago.
Will not be back.

Food was OK, nothing special. Service subpar. Was standing waiting to be seated for quite some time, watching workers stand around. It was slow with only 4 or 5 other tables sat. While waiting for another long period to place drink and food order, I saw another couple standing and waiting, almost walked out.

Order a brownie with a side of MOLD this obviously nasty it shows that they don’t go thru something very simple the workers are very nice but this shows LAZYNESS ON THEIR PART Can get u VERY

One of the oldest mobile diners in the country! They started with a horse-drawn carriage. They work in the dead of night in a sketchy part of Providence. But they sling great burgers and fries. Got to eat mine while a street person asked me for $2 and offered me candy in exchange, and then went off on a rant about how good Haven Brothers was. I agree!
