Wonderful dining experience from the moment we were greeted by the hostess and waiter. The food was delicious. We ordered New England clam chowder, crab cakes and a seafood paella. We are wine enthusiasts and had questions about choosing a bottle of wine that would go well with our food and mostly our California palate. Our waiter problem solved this dilemma by sending over a knowledgeable person that could explore what we were looking for in a wine. They did not steer us wrong....
We had a lovely server who was very attentive. The view of the city was wonderful from our seats. Food was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Providence, RI.
Hemenway's is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Providence. They have their own garage with free parking which makes coming into the city SO easy! The restaurant is light, airy, clean, and classy. Everyone is pleasant, polite and on their game. All are ready to take care of the customer without being pretentious. The quality of our meal from drinks to appetizer, to lovely main courses, to dessert are served perfectly in a very reasonably amount of time. The price point is...
