I'm worried this place is on the decline. The last couple of times the rice has been under cooked, the normally amazing flour tortilla burned, and everything far too salty (I couldn't taste any other flavor), And now they don't have a liquor license...
Small place, big burritos. Food is great but if you sit inside two of the four tables are basically in front of the bathroom and it’s kind of a bummer.
$40 for two Burritos and 2 Topo-Chico is absurd.. Al Pastor tastes like the chopped up pork chop. Guess living in Arizona gives you high expectations that most can't meet. Wouldn't come back. Service was good and kind though.
Hidden gem in Providence - scratch kitchen where you can watch them make fresh, great food. Chips and salsa are great (some special seasoning on those chips!). Just wish there was more salsa in the serving…
Amazing Mexican food, super consistent. Clean ingredients too, I always feel great after
unfortunately the rice and sweet potatoes are undercooked 9/10 times i've eaten here over the last 7-8 years. the al pastor has a great flavor but is really chewy about 70% of the time. the guacamole is extremely oversalted and expensive. the black beans are delicious and fairly priced but extremely over salted. the mexican shrimp cocktail is a unique and healthy dish that has been more consistent.
Really good fresh tacos.

Perfect spot for a quick bite - the fish tacos were the highlight. Plenty of outdoor seating and affordable prices. Will be back soon.

An upscale taqueria on Ives St, Tallulah’s won’t disappoint with their food, service, atmosphere, or location. What might surprise you, though, is how expensive it is. Usually I understand restaurants being a little on the pricey side these days, but Tallulah’s is at a whole different level. Tacos being nearly $6, while you can find plenty of delicious taquerias in the west side for half the price. That being said, the rest of their menu is still more expensive than you’d find elsewhere, but not outrageously so.
I chose to get a carnitas burrito and was treated to one of the most flavorful meals I’ve had in a while. Everything from the tortilla to the fillings was delicious. I especially enjoyed the amount of cilantro included, noticeable but not overpowering. It wasn’t a huge burrito like you’d get at Chipotle, but it was filling. I’m glad I stopped by and got to try it out, but this is not somewhere I’d dine at regularly simply due to the elevated prices. If you’re not as worried about money as me, you might feel differently because everything else about this place is great.

Great Tacos. Best Al Pastor in New England. Nice fusion of authentic flavors. Seating is limited to mostly outdoor picnic tables and service is over the counter. It's best suited for grab n go. order in advance on nice summer days or you will be waiting for a long time.

i appreciate the variety of places on Ives St. including this spot though i wouldn't go out of my way to seek it if i wanted tacos. the outdoor seating is nice when it's warm, haven't been by when it's cold but hopefully they put up tents and a heater to retain business. the tacos were okay. i have noticed a few trendy taco spots that don't season the meat enough and rely on the salsa afterwards to be the flavor. this was my experience here too with carne asada and barbacoa tacos. i like tacos the way i grew up eating them in baja, seasoned so well that no salsa is needed just a squirt of lime. price per taco was also a bit steep considering it's a hybrid takeout spot with no real seating or service. nonetheless service was kind.

Placed order online to be picked up at 7:30pm. Showed up exactly at the time and told the person at the register I was there. They said the food was ready (unsure for how long it had been sitting there…) but they needed to pack it up. From that moment, it took them at least 5 minutes to hand me the order. By the time I got home (a 6-minute walk) the order was completely cold, the tacos stale, and the cheese in the quesadilla congelead. The agua fresca was good.
