I'm worried this place is on the decline. The last couple of times the rice has been under cooked, the normally amazing flour tortilla burned, and everything far too salty (I couldn't taste any other flavor), And now they don't have a liquor license...
Hidden gem in Providence - scratch kitchen where you can watch them make fresh, great food. Chips and salsa are great (some special seasoning on those chips!). Just wish there was more salsa in the serving…
unfortunately the rice and sweet potatoes are undercooked 9/10 times i've eaten here over the last 7-8 years. the al pastor has a great flavor but is really chewy about 70% of the time. the guacamole is extremely oversalted and expensive. the black beans are delicious and fairly priced but extremely over salted. the mexican shrimp cocktail is a unique and healthy dish that has been more consistent.
