The most fun-loving establishment on Federal Hill. Jake the owner is kind enough to provide a wall of guitars a keyboard a set of drums and bongos for anyone that wants to use them plus the laptop for karaoke. The food is good the chef is a great guy. He takes pride in his work and make sure. He's always concerned to make sure the customer is satisfied even if it's just a slice of pizza. The staff is second to none. A special shout out To Nisper AKA NIPS. He's not just a bartender. He engages with his customers is truly interested in their stories and has great stories himself. Just an all-around great guy and an entertainer in his own right that cares about people. Not sure what happened why the entertainment got shut down I mean that's your bread and butter jake. I say the many musicians that go there in a very safe atmosphere I couldn't imagine anybody even getting an argument let alone a fight. You can go outside for a while and leave your gear you can even leave your wallet out on the table and no one would mess with. The people that congregate there are fun-loving honest musicians. Nothing but good vibes from good people in and out of the doors of Jake and Johnny's restaurant in live entertainment. Thank you Jake and Johnny's I've had so many good times there. Thank you to the staff the chef and again Especially NISPER. Talk to you soon Nips. I give it five stars I would give it 10 Stars if that was the option.

The food was decent, the service left a lot to be desired, this certain bartender, always served me last, and never even made so much as eye contact with me, not sure why, I guess he has an eye for unidentifiable str8 acting gay men.

I pop down to Providence once a month or so and Jake & Johnny’s never disappoints. Though a small venue they have a great lineup for live entertainment pretty much every night of the week, from bands jamming out to DJs spinning groovy house and techno, and everyone walking in the door is greeted with a giant smile. The bartender even remembered my drink! For food, they might be famous for their pizza (and they have gluten free pizza which is HUGE for me), but my favorite menu item so far is definitely the sweet chili wings.

Didn't even stay long this time. The new bartender he's ok. Same atmosphere as last time tho, once again food was good but at night it changes up... the male Bartender with the long curly hair. He's definitely going to tank that place with the after-partys and shrinkage however I do recommend the buffalo chicken pizza.

Zaz made me the best Gunpowder gin drink I've ever had. Great place, and great bar tender. I enjoy every time I come in.

Small venue, small dance floor, can be overwhelming @ times with Drunk college kids, drinks are moderately priced they also have themed night's like comedy night, karaoke night, and jam bands etc; pretty cool spot!!

Parking: There is rarely front door on street parking, I usually park half a block away, DO NOT PARK IN WALGREENS they will tow you sometimes there is off side street parking!!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get into Jake and Johnny's but no automatic door opener ?and no ramp for the restaurant to get into that definitely needs to be addressed and fixed !
