Very expensive.Very small portion. And there is nothing expensive in the raw material of the dishes. Most of dishes are made only of vestebles, tons of rice and flours, and a little bit of chicken depending on the dish. The take out come in small rounded pba plastic containers.

I had a disappointing experience at Kabob and Curry. Overall, the food was mediocre at best, although the samosas were quite good. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and lamb curry; the chicken was decent, but unfortunately, the lamb was dry and had an off taste. Since we did takeout, I can’t comment much on the atmosphere or service, but based on the food alone, I can’t say I’d recommend it.

My SO and I have both dined in and gotten delivery from Kabob and Curry.
It's ok when you go in. The place is set up a little tight but all in all it's fine. The portion sizes are *mostly* ok. Definitely a touch more expensive than I've seen in terms of portions. Also for the types of curries and their flavors, It's also more "American" spicy than it is flavor spicy if you know what I mean.

The real issue I have is with the Delivery prices and portion sizes.
We dropped a solid $80 for three entrees at around $16 per. We were expecting at least a pint of each, as indian food is usually quite good for leftovers. But for some reason, Kabob and Curry does half pints!

$16 an entree in 2024 is expected. But that $16 should be enough to split with one or two other people, as you usually share what you order when you get indian food.

All in all, this place is just ok if maybe a bit pricey. Especially if you compare price-to-meal ratio with other indian places in the area.

EDIT: I really appreciate the owners response to this review. That's a very honest decision they made, especially right now with rising food costs. I changed my review from 3/5 on service to 5/5, and would also like to say that the dining in experience felt better price-per-portion when we went in.

Came here for the first time with a group of friends so had the chance to try a few of their dishes. Pleased to say that I was not disappointed by a single one! Their vegetable samosas were delicious, but their assortment of naans is what had us all hooked! My favorite was the paneer ( cheese) naan, though the garlic and cilantro naan was also to die for! The tofu mango curry was a solid 5/10 as it was too sweet for my liking ( without enough spice) but would definitely come back to try a different curry option, as they had many! Our server was also very polite, efficient and kind! Overall, a great experience for sure!

Kabob and Curry is the closest thing I've seen in Providence to real Indian food. Every time I vacation in New England I tried to stop here because I love Indian food and have been eating it since I met beelzebub, my ex-ex evil, bi-polar ex-wife. Tonight unfortunately, my papadum was soggy & stale, but the navaratan korma and the the saag paneer made up for this. I wasn't really that disappointed. Unfortunately I have to go four stars instead of five like usual.

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here - Nepali chef making good quality indian food - great flavor, good variety of indian food, large portions. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Highly recommend it. I had the South Indian thali which included both vegetarian and meat dishes.
