Visited for the first time yesterday and great experience! Food was delicious and fresh. Service was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!
Very vegan friendly. Amazing service. 🌱
It was really good!
Food is good. However the service is the worst in Boston. A women server spilled soup on me without saying anything and just walked away. In the end, I was still forced to pay an 18% tip. Will never back to here.
The outside does not give the restaurant justice due to construction but inside it is very nice and clean food was great even though I'm not a fan of this type of restaurant though I will be back
Yummy hotpot with friendly staff and freshly prepared hotpot meats, veggies and good desserts too
My first experience with hot pot and I was blown away! Great service and incredible food. Try all the sauces and be adventurous!
Absolutely amazing food
Restaurant has its own parking lot. The inside is very clean, cozy booths and great service. The host was great about showing us the menu and helping with suggestions while helping us not to over order. Seriously, there are so many choices and I want to try all of them. My dining companion wasn't a seafood eater so we had beef and lamb thinly sliced and crunchy pork meatballs for our protein. We did get tofu also. We got the mushroom sampler, the veggie sampler and pulled noodles. When you are ready for the noodles, they pull them table side. We got a split pot with two bases, mushroom and bone broth. I made an oyster peanut spicy dipping sauce. The food was extremely fresh. It was delicious! The drinks were great and the overall experience was worth it. I'll be back!
I have been going to Lamei since they had opened and initially they were good however my last experience was even better!!
They are the best hotpot in providence and probably Rhode Island
Their meat fresh vegetable and mushroom selection is great
And they have a self service sauce station to make your dipping sauce
Overall it was a great experience
Restaurantji Recommends
Beware
They auto charge you the tip 10-20% whatever they feel like, irrelevant to group size. When I questioned them about it they act like everyone does it and it’s supposedly normal practice.
Food is good. Service non-existent, so makes me frustrated they charge extra gratuity for 0 service…
They set the bar for hot pot! Can't wait to go back again! Everything was super fresh and delicious!
Visit the restaurant almost once a week, and has been a loyal customer in the past couple months. But today (12/28/24)the waiter really pissed me off cause the way he talked to us.
We entered the restaurant around 8:30. At first, we sat at a small table for two, but we would like to switch to a bigger table just like we did before. We asked a waitress to do it; she said okay. But the waiter came and told us we must guarantee we can finish the meal before 10:00 p.m. Otherwise, we CANNOT change the table because he wants to clean up earlier so that he can go home on time.
We enjoyed the food and the service from another server before, but after this, we won't go there anymore.
Be careful with that waiter!!
Whats an absolutely amazing experience. Tim was our server and we were totally clueless. He walked us through the whole process and made sure we had the best experience we could from start to finish. It was an absolute masterclass for service with phenomenal food to boot. I would 10/10 recommend.
First hot pot experience and the server was super super nice and showed us how to make the sauce and how to cook everything!! Made our first time so enjoyable. Delish
