Authentic Italian! Great service. Haven't had a meal I didn't love! Very charming atmosphere.

This is the real deal for a great Italian meal. Red gravy is one of a kind. Homemade and delicious! Very warm, family atmosphere. Have been coming since Sunday dinner in the basement.

Went there once from a recommendation and didn't have any expectations. It doesn't really matter what I got(steak) and the folks I was with got something different. So, I wouldn't recommend going AT ALL, not worth the money. The Coca-Cola was pretty good though.

Being Italian myself, and a good cook x 10.St Bart’s is by far the best Italian ,I’ve ever had(.I never go to a restaurant on an empty stomach ) but I left knowing I was back soon!I had tripe that came from heaven,I have tripe 3 times a week and this by far is the very best. The cook is a sweet young lady from Italy her husband ( Rico) is the back bone of the restaurant .they have American and Italian to die for,if you are in Rhode Island it’s a must go to place and I can assure you, you will be happy you were there! That’s a promiss!

FABULOUS!!! BEST ITALIAN FOOD in Rhode Island HANDS DOWN !!!! Delicious Homemade soups and made from scratch cavati pasta - ALL of the food and homemade marinara sauce is so good you do not need to season it with anything !!! Wonderful family run business - Owners are very kind, place have been open for decades and decades -Small gem found in the silver lake providence area. One of the last standing reminisce of the old Italian neighborhood it used to be- MUST TRY!!!

I had the chicken marinated in balsamic vinaigrette with mozzarella and roasted peppers. The chicken was very dry. The vegetable medley was ok, but nothing special. Service was very personable and welcoming. The limoncello martini was excellent.

meal was decent. server was EXTREMELY LOUD (sherri) and the silverware was dirty. all night long there were dozens fruit flies swarming the table, so bad that we had to move tables but even then it wasn't fixed. no one at my table drank the water because fruit flies were on it. don't recommend to come here

Delicious, authentic Italian dishes. I've been many times, but hadn't been in a few years. Just as good as always. Thinking back... Not sure I've ever had anything other than veal and mushrooms. I always look around the menu, but the veal is just too good! Finish it off with some wine, amazing desserts, and a cappuccino! And the waitstaff and owner are beyond friendly! Can't wait to go back.

The restaurant is special in it's commitment to simplicity, authenticity, and camaraderie. The restaurant is family owned and operated, with two lovely older Italians serving, cooking and talking you through a wonderful night. Everything here screams Italian comfort food, from the fried calamari to their egg-drop Italian Wedding soup (with the richest broth I've ever tasted). The Spaghetti ai Calamari is my go to, with fresh calamari and mild red sauce over al dente spaghetti. The aromatics and the perfect texture of the spaghetti are, as a combo, an excellent choice. It's easy to get a table here during the week, so reservations aren't necessary. The owner is also the server most nights, and getting to talk to him is very wonderful. He has a presence about him that makes every visit special.

Food was excellent! I had the special with spaghetti, eggplant and sausage. My husband had something with crispy chicken and my 11 month old had a meatball. I have to say, if you are someone who LOVES FOOD WITH FLAVOR, this place is a must! They seasoned everything so well. Its very dim in the restaurant so if your someone who inspects their food prior to eating, you may want to bring a flashlight. Other than that i gave them a 5 star for the food and service. Would definitely go again

Went out for dinner with wife and my mom. Mom has been here several times and wanted us to go. So we did and glad we went. Both service and food were excellent. Place is owned by an older gentleman and his wife. She does all the cooking and he helps out with everything else. He came out and spoke with us after meal and became an instant new friend of ours. His wife also joined us too. We talked for a while and ultimately closed the place. We will be back again next time we are in town. Recommend anyone close by check out this hidden gem...

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem . I'm not sure if the owner and his wife even use the internet but I felt the urge to post this review anyhow. The ambiance is very Italian and special. Soft lighting and music make the experience more intimate. If I'm honest, I need the flashlight app on my phone to read the menu. (Old eyes) The menu is not enormous and everything on it is fantastic! Sometimes I opt for a simple spaghetti and meatballs. It's that good. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Get some pasta sauce to take home! Just saying.

First time at this restaurant after hearing how good it is for many years from friends and co-workers. The place was great. The service was swift, however the restaurant was about a third full. cocktails came out quickly as well as our appetizer, which was delicious. menu is not huge, but don't be alarmed by that; a great selection of classic Italian dishes. atmosphere was quaint with an Italian theme. Entree's well portioned reasonably priced and tasted excellent. The only regret was that I didn't go to this place sooner. Can't wait to go back and will definitely be sooner than later

This is a family restaurant. It is good for families, for couples on dates, for groups. Food is what you hope you would have at a family party. All the workers that you see, and don't see are part of a big family. I will be back, without question. Portions are large enough to have leftovers.
