It’s really rare that I leave a negative review, but the expensive cake slices we had at L’Artisan yesterday were freezer-burned to the point where one was completely inedible. I went back to ask for a different slice, which is bad considering I seriously never send anything back. The two staff who were there were super nice about it, which I definitely appreciated. The pastry I traded for was better, but still tasted like a dirty freezer. I was especially bummed to know they were frozen at all. I assumed that for the price ($20 for 2 cake slices) they would be freshly made. I highly recommend you skip this place and go to Madrid Bakery instead.
Excellent place! The people are so friendly and they have a bunch of nice options.
Used to love the dark roast coffee...last 2 times definitely different. Less boldness, flavor. I was reassured by staff the proportions had not changed. Tried again, weak again.
Back to Coffee Exchange. Always good, every time.
Fantastic stop for a pastry or coffee. Staff is nice and very helpful. Place is clean and the food is delicious. Fantastic!
Lovely Cafe, with great coffee and cakes!
Mediocre at best.
Nice place to have a delicious dessert and coffee

They make an amazing matcha latte! The London fog is also delicious! I love the cannollis as well and cinnamon rolls are decent, a little harder than I'd like but the sticky cinnamon filling is decadent! We usually eat outside on the nice warm days. The neighborhood is lovely. And you can bring your dog if you'd like. Outside only tho.

Slow. Slow. Slow. Not paying attention.
But their almond croissant was terrific.
It's difficult to write this review but it's been a consistent issue. The staff is always courteous and the atmosphere is nice.
The issue: I usually order a savory Danish and get it heated (eating there, not to go). This was the fourth time in a row (regarding both locations) that the "heated" Danish was COLD, yet burnt. They put it on a panini press, it seems. This probably doesn't heat the inside and burns the outside. Please use another form of heating your bakery products because these experiences make your place of business look medicore and not appealing to local people. These danishes are not made to order, I understand. That mostly means I can get them somewhere else, even if it's out of my way. I hope this habit is changed and that you're able to improve on these conditions.

Cute small cafe and bakery. My favorite item from here is their warm chai latte with oat milk.

I was looking forward to trying the food from this cafe, it looked delicious on UberEats, but to receive an avocado toast with salty mashed avocado and still find the stem nub (see pic) in said mashed avocado was a HUGE let down.
My white tuna wrap was so dry, too. No condiments whatsoever- just dry tuna in a dry tortilla with dry greens and bland veggies mixed in. Would not recommend.
