LaSalle has some excellent desserts and sandwiches. Because of this, the place gets REALLY packed on weekends, and so it's not the best spot for sitting down to enjoy your food because it's do noisy. They also seem up be short staffed, so be prepared to wait about 20 minutes to get your order filled.

Not for nothing maybe its because it's the color of our skin however we get treated way different when we enter both locations. Customer service isn't good at all .. it seems the ppl that work there aren't happy and are clueless about certain things.. very rude with service even for management. Always rushing no smiles just miserable employees

First time coming here. Ordered ahead a red velvet cake for my fiancé’s birthday. Best red velvet cake I have ever tasted in my entire life. They recommended taking the cake out of the fridge 1 hour prior to eating which was spot on. The cake was so soft, a beautiful red, and the frosting was a creamy, not overly sweet, cream cheese frosting. The thinly shaved chocolate shavings on the side was a wonderful touch. They weren’t crunchy; so they added flavor without taking away from the softness/cloud like texture of the cake.
Best thing? I don’t even like Red Velvet cake. BUT I DO NOW. 🤭🥳 My fiance on the other hand… his favorite.. and he too said this was the best he has ever had.
Seriously made long term/future customers for special occasions or random stop ins. I can’t wait to try all the things.
Staff was also nice. Straight to business, but pleasant.

I had the most horrible unpleasant morning here. I came in to buy a cake for someone's birthday. Which is suppose to be a happy moment but turned out meeting the most unhappy miserable person I ever seen in my life. I was greeted by a nice young lady who took a cake out I was trying to buy it but it had flowers on it so I said I'd take the one behind it when a lady said I couldn't see the cake I have to buy it. She was rude didn't say hi or Gm just came over to us very unpleasantly. I will never come back to this place. I'm new to the neighborhood and I want to say you should treat your employees and customers better. Maybe wake up and try to put yourself in a better mood before you service customers. I'm saddened people have to work around you.

This bakery is our go-to for special occasion cakes, and when you go to pick up your phenomenal cake, you can’t help but get some pizza strips and stare longingly into the cases. It’s worth the hour drive because there isn’t a bakery that comes close to it in Southcoast, MA.
