Out of the slew of good restaurants on Hope Street, this one stands out. I ordered the Mofongo Benedict and it was so good that I had to order it again when I came the second time. The combination of textures from the plantains to the eggs to the sauce is just perfect. They also label their dairy free and gluten free options clearly, which is very helpful. The drinks are also exceptional, and they have an extensive wine collection. I tried the horchata latte and hibiscus tea and both were really flavorful.

Yeah so this place is a total gem. Came down from Boston and grabbed 2 pastries, a guava pastelito (don’t tell anyone but this was even better than the times I had them in Miami) & a simple but fresh breakfast empanada (would love to try the other flavors next time). The place was so warm vibewise & I’m pretty sure the owner greeted me personally. I just hope she’s seeing this to know thanks for creating this place. There are plenty of us out here noticing & loving your delicious hard work. If you’re reading this go here. Also the fresh hot sauces all look amazing!

Little Sister is always on my list when I’m in Providence. Their hot food is amazing but I dream about the guava quesito. It is unbelievable. And in addition to the delicious food and cute atmosphere, the service is top notch. I always have a wonderful experience here. Highly rec!

My friend and I went to Little Sister’s Spanish wine tasting event on 1/21. It was such an enjoyable experience! The owner, Milena, walked us through 6 amazing wines. We are hard-core vino tinto drinkers but loved the variety we got to try tonight. We were also treated to a delicious dinner of salad, paella, tostones and more. Little Sister has a perfect atmosphere for an authentic, non-pretentious night out! (I was here for brunch last weekend, also 5 stars! Horchata latte❤️)

Excellent night with Milena and Ana. We had wine tasting from her exclusive Spanish collection of wines and exquisite culinary skills. We enjoyed a home made paella, salad, sorullitos and tostones. What a wonderful night, highly recommend. Thank you!

Had to wait 30 minutes outside in freezing (24 F) weather for a reservation we had made in advance. We were told we'd be fined the $60 no-show fee if we left. We complained once while waiting. After 20 minutes we were told we could leave without incurring a fee, but we decided to wait - thinking our seats would be ready any minute. We decided to let the owner know we were displeased with the situation (after 33 minutes) when it was time for us to be seated. She then refused to seat us. Yes, we were cold, hungry and unhappy but not loud, rude or aggressive. We were stunned. It is unfortunate that they choose to overbook themselves and create situations like this.

This is not at all what I expected from a James beard semifinalist. I Went there for breakfast. The hostess which I now learned was the owner, was very cold and unwelcoming. The service was abysmal which was shocking because of the fact that the place was empty. I ordered a mojito which was refreshing, and to eat I had the Mofongo Benedict. The plantain and pork was very dry and the only saving grace on the dish was the side salad and eggs which were cooked well. This is an establishment that is more concerned with turning over tables from what I can tell than putting out good food and great service.

There are many things to love about Little Sister but my 90 year old grandmother will tell you that one thing is the best: their palmiers. She is utterly addicted-- they are the best she's had outside of France, she says. Thank you Little Sister for being her favorite!

OMG! The reviews didn’t do this place justice! This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had and I’m 64 years old! Eaten in restaurants all over the Greater Boston area and this place beats them ALL! Just wish they had more seating, but maybe that’s why they are able to create such delicious food and keep such an intimate comfortable atmosphere ! I’m definitely coming back for many more visits!

Extremely low quality and unprofessional service and people who are unable to communicate properly and focus on extremely rude communication towards prospective customers and lying to them too!
