Review for Private Party. Had my 50th birthday party at Loie Fuller's a couple nights ago. 1) Food was amazing and plentiful. We had about an hour of hors devours (cheese & meat platter / oysters) and then sat down to a family style meal. The best items we shared that night were the fried chicken (boneless breasts), grits (just unreal), and steak. Some of the best food I've eaten in Providence, period - just absolutely delicious. Just as enjoyable was the dessert of beignets - these had everybody over-indulging as they were "so worth it." 2) Staff was super responsive and flexible. We planned everything out with Curtis ahead of time and he was there throughout our event making sure everything was as we expected. Curtis, Margaret and Elizabeth traded responsibilities throughout the night - one would be behind the bar while the other two were getting the room set up or delivering appetizers and main courses. They were all super friendly and accommodating throughout the night. 3) The atmosphere of the restaurant - its one of the most beautiful spaces in Rhode Island. It's so well done that my words here will fail - as soon as you walk through the doors you're surrounded by the art nouveau design - all of the artwork, wood paneling, windows, floor tiles, sconces - its all just perfect and there's nothing out of place. It's obvious that its a labor of love for the owners and staff to maintain such a beautiful space! 4) Drinks -- excellent bartending skills at Loie Fuller. We had a selection of drinks for my party and Curtis broke out an additional couple of standouts for our guests. Can't say enough about the Loie Fuller staff and how they made this event really enjoyable!

The restaurant is a unique gem. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable; the interior is lovely and the food is delicious.

The food and drinks are great, although their drink menu could use an expansion. The atmosphere is dark yet comfortable and the staff is great. We sat at the bar and my recommendation is that they need better bar stools, preferably ones with backs that don't feel as though they're about to fall apart. Great spot overall!

I've been to Loie Fullers a few times over the past year it's one of my favorite places to go in providence. One thing I've noticed is that the menu is pretty hit or miss. I wish they rotated the menu more often! My favorite meal that I've had there was a short rib special. This past weekend I went on Saturday and ordered the Cajun shrimp to start! So flavorful!! Then got the fried chicken as my main dish. The chicken was definitely underwhelming. There was little to no flavor. The service is really good, the staff is very attentive and friendly. I'm really hoping the team sees this and considers some changes to the menu (fingers crossed).

5 star food! 5 star decor! 555 star staff!!! My mother planned my bridal party here and it was beyond gorgeous. You get the entire place to yourself which is great when you're giddy on the bottomless mimosas! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, even going as far as helping my father bring things to and from the car. That is above and beyond service. My mother loved every moment of planning my party along with candida (spelling) and Alex. She said they were so nice and she came a bunch of times to sample their food. We did a buffet and it was so great. The crab cakes are so big!!! Also, that charcuterie board was the biggest fanciest thing I've ever seen. And the dessert was out of this world. Ugh that mousse! I really have to thank the staff for being so great with my mom and helping her and my father so much. You have made customers for life. I'll attach a ton of shower photos it was just beyond gorgeous overall. Highly recommend for any function that you need to plan!!

Gorgeous atmosphere. Their fried chicken IS phenomenal, but just a bit overpriced... much like the rest of the menu. If they priced their food a bit more realistically, it would be a HUGE hit with the West End community... not just the bourgeois Providence elite. I like the place a lot, want to like it more, and want to be able to recommend it without hesitation.
