I had a great experience dining at this mala tang restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh, but what really made my visit special was the excellent service from Candice. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in.

Delicious and crazy affordable! We loved both the stir fry and noodle soup versions. Very authentic and spicy in the best way possible.

gave me and my friend food poisoning :( the soup is inconsistent and the tofu is plasticky sometimes
Great service and a welcoming environment. Candice was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive—she truly represents the business well and made the experience even better.

I had a great experience at Mala Noodle! The staff, her name is Candice, were very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The food was delicious — flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely come back again! Highly recommended.

Extremely overpriced, paid $60 for a bowl of what tasted like reheated meats and cheap noodles. Spice level is not accurate and lady at the counter was rude and unapproachable. Overall, made me shed a tear.

This experience was AMAZING! Seriously recommended!! My daughter and I sat down here for a nice lunch and we are so pleased. Food was awesome. You can make your own noodles to your preference here. The lady working here made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere is cute. Asian merch and music. We loved this restaurant. If you are in Providence, I recommend you to stop by!

I tried this place for the first time after living in walking distance for the past 4 months. At first the lay out was a bit confusing, I'm not used to their self bowl creation method but the staff was extremely helpful and explained how everything worked.
The restaurant is well decorated and is a wonderful place to grab food with friends or solo. The food was amazing, I really enjoyed my bowl and I can't wait to go back!
Overall, I had a very positive experience here, and thought it was fairly priced. Would recommend!

The setup of the store changed and now it is $14.xx by the pound. Before you just paid by the bowl no matter how much you filled it up with ingredients. The bowl also changed to a heavier, larger one so the weight of the bowl also increases the price as its all weighed together. This process wasn’t written or explained so I ended up paying close to $40. It used to be a $20 meal and I still had leftovers. of course, if one puts less in the bowl, the price would be cheaper than what I got. Used to go once or twice a week but not sure I will be returning..
Spotted this place and the signage and vibes bewitched me into coming in. The build-your-own bowl was great, and they charge a flat price for it. (Lesson learned, next time I’m filling my bowl up to the brim.) Ooh right, the rice is free too. We got one, but you can get free rice per each bowl. So worth your money! The veggies and stuff there are pretty fresh, and the noodles (no matter what kind you choose) are all so chewy! It did take a little while for my bowl to arrive, but the wait was definitely worth it since the soup was warm and comforting. Service is very nice, and the background music is relaxing. Stop by here and give this place a try!

this is genuinely one of the best dry pot ive ever had.. and i am saying this as someone who is visiting providence from nyc and eats dry pot very often in flushing. i have gotten dry pot twice in the past 4 days of being in providence 😂 that’s how good it is. this place is more worth if you go in person and choose your toppings (it’s a flat fee, NOT based on weight). i get level 2 spicy and it’s pretty standard mala spicy. it’s a little pricey for a student’s budget (comes out to ~$20) but it’s technically a good deal cus it’s not based on weight (which can go upwards of $30 usually)
im honestly just posting this review because this place has pretty low overall ratings but most of the lower ratings seem to be from people who don’t/can’t eat mala, so disclaimer!! the flavor is genuine and good!!!

Completely over priced, the services are of no help, and the vibe was just not there, when I walked it I intended to stay for long because I had a flight and a few hours and this was gonna be my last meal in Rl so I walk in no body is there to take my order, and I planed to order a meal provided on the menu but was forced to do an pick your own, so I'm picking what I think is good with no help mind you but I finish and bring it up. My jaw dropped and my wallet was crying real tears when she told me the price but I can't just touch all this food and not pay so yah. When I got my food, there's was like no salt at alllll, the crab was literally the cheapest thing I have ever ate, the meat was not that good, and this might be my fault but the glass noodles were not hitting. This is one of the only places I literally can't defend, likes it's not an awful unauthentic place cause it kinda seemed authentic to me, but for that price and the food that was provided is just not worth it to me
