Our first time at Massimo's and we will go back. Everything (service, cocktails, food, and wine) was excellent. We had a very early dinner (Saturday @ 3) before going to a game and the place was packed. Make a reservation.
Small portions and food is not close to the other restaurants in the area. First and last visit.
Amazing food, amazing customer service, beautiful location, I continue to love it very much!
grandson has nut allergy and staff was wonderful careful and caring as always a great dinner
Sat at the Bar for dinner. Excellent service, food always good. Even adjusted App charge to half-price and we were unaware of the discount “ Happy-hour” charges.... Thanks
Overall just a mediocre meal. I had asked for a nice table as it was a special dinner planned with my son before he left for college... they sat us right next to the door near hostess station. Food was mediocre at best . Octopus app was rubbery. Chicken parm was thick and overcooked. Barely ate any . My son had the veal chop which was good. There are better choices in Providence for Italian. I wouldn't visit again anytime soon.
Valet parking; friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff; incredibly delicious food; drink and wine menu that can't be beat; and world's best bread pudding to finish off the meal (and take at least half of the giant portions home). Always busy, so suggest reservation. What could be better??
We have been to Il Massimo several times and every time it is an excellent dining experience! I must say it has more atmosphere sitting downstairs as opposed to upstairs, but the food is always excellent either way! My favorite is the gnocchi with bolognese but everything is delicious!
It's okay, although, very expensive for individual plates and entrees. I feel like I can get the same quality for half the price right off the federal hill area. Seems to want to be fancy just to be fancy... It's a late of pasta, why is it 40 bucks?
Employees are standouts though, great, thoughtful people!
Love this restaurant they have the best lasagna in the city!!!!! Love the drinks too I’ve been here many times! Highly recommended!

Solid restaurant but not worth the price.
Menu was lacking some staples
Staff were very solid
Wine was excellent
Meatball appetizer was good size
Main courses were ok but nothing exceptional- had ravioli and shrimp risotto. Nothing stood out in flavors
Restaurant was in a tourist area and it shows. You can do much worse for tourist Italian fare but you can also do better.

Made Thanksgiving reservations, promptly seated, bus table to waitress service was impeccable and the Thanksgiving dinner special was melt in your mouth delicious. The restaurant was completely full, happiness and laughter ruled. Thank you Team Massimo for the perfect experience, meal and Thanksgiving!
