I just went there bc Im getting paid to scout out places for a post-event cocktail meetup. I was tasked with getting pictures of the different establishments back bars and cocktail/wine menus. I came in & took THIS picture & was immediately swarmed had people putting there hands on me & asking me why I took a picture. I showed them it was merely a picture of the bar with no people in it, and then tried to explain over the blaring music that I was looking for places for a afterparty (trying to use basic terms in English.) They said “no. We don’t do that.” Then I explained “like a cocktail hour” & they said “no. We don’t do that.” I Got the impression that no matter what I said, they were gonna say “we don’t do that.” It was demanded that I delete the picture, which I did, and got it out of my trash to show you all what was so controversial. They wanted me out of there & I felt like they don’t like white ppl. Then a drunk patron that was trying to flirt with me chased me outside & when I got in my car he blocked it so I couldn’t shut the door. This made me extremely scared as it was midnight & no one was on the street & he wouldn’t listen. I had to physically push him to shut my door & lock it right away. This was literally 2 minutes in that place. No thanks.
