Great spot to take in the Pat's game with our favorite Friar...relaxed, comfy and fun.

Place looks more like a kids play room than a bar. Maybe if they actually served good beers and had some real food, and served alcohol during the week....ppl might make this place there normal hangout

WORST staff ever. took the guy nearly 15 min to make a milkshake....all while he watched tv, ate popcorn, texted, and flirted with the other girl working. Wowwwww, manager needs to be more hands on

McPhail's is one of the best places to go on campus. There's always free popcorn, and milkshakes for $3, $2 on Wednesdays.

This place is a real gem that Friars should be grateful for. Don't get me wrong, as a PC graduate...I certainly got sick of this place at times, but ultimately, a pub on campus is really awesome. The most important thing it has going for it is the fact that is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Well lit too. Next, cheap drinks. All beers are $2-$3 and they have a good variety. Mix drinks are similarly priced. NO SHOTS though. There are pros and cons to that I suppose. The catch? Some ass of an architect decided to put a big counter in the middle of the skinniest part of the pub. What does this mean for the average drinker? Essentially, you must raise your drink high over your head and shimmy past a bunch of people who are annoyed at you. Worst case scenario, the kid who's had too much fun can't get to the bathroom in time and makes a mess all over the floor and you. I've seen it happen. Most people here are 21, so you're not running into seniors from high school visiting their older siblings. On the other hand, you can hang out and not drink if you're under 21 so that's pretty cool. Their live music is usually totally awesome, if a bit too loud at times. All in all? Great place.
