This isn’t a restaurant. It is a coffee roaster only. The location is down right scary and the building is like grandpa’s basement.The coffee they roast is mostly for local restaurants and coffee houses. I have bought coffee from them for over 20 years and it is still the best of any coffee anywhere.
I have been getting coffee beans from Mills for a while and their product is outstanding; a real RI gem.Susan has been the point person and she couldn't be any more kind and accommodating.I took a tour of their facility which was super informative. It showcased what they did there in their very clean (and very cool) building.Mills produces excellent product, while being local, and doing it in a thoughtful way for the farmers they work with.
I stopped by Mill Coffee last week after reading great reviews on this place. When I pressed the intercom button at the entrance, I realized it's by appointment only visit. Luckily, Susan the owner let me in. Susan's hospitality exceeded expectations. She also showed me around, provided great information, and sent me home with two bags of coffee to try for free.
