A place we will be visiting again. Our waiter was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and gave us great recommendations. The Wagyu was amazing.

This was our first time trying and we came for our anniversary. The first issue was that we were sat next to a very obnoxiously loud table, but we decided to stay at our table since another couple had already requested to move due to the noise. Secondly, service was slowwwwww. It took about 30 min to get our drinks and probably an hour for the food. My husband had the bacon wrapped venison which he liked, but stated the bacon was really fatty around the edges. I tried his and had to spit it out, I did not like the taste. I ordered the 5oz wagyu. I had wagyu once before at Circe prime and the flavor and texture blew me out of the water. It was buttery and soft with phenomenal flavor. The one from Mills was hard to chew and had abnormal fat distribution. The meat itself was not very flavorful, but the seared edges did have a nice salty crust. It was definitely not up to the standards it should have been especially given the $65 price tag with no sides! We would not come back here again.

This was a fantastic dinner. The waitstaff were very attentive and were able to accommodate my allergies, even with the surprise amuse bouche. We had fantastic fall drinks that were the highlight, and the carpaccio was outstanding. We both had the Australian wagyu steaks which were extremely tender and prepared well.

The staff made our anniversary dinner feel special. Everyone who interacted with us from the valet to the hostess to the servers and support staff was welcoming and strived to make our dinner great. Drinks and appetizers were fresh and delivered very quickly. The main courses and side dishes were also quick to arrive and cooked perfectly. Desert did not disappoint.

The service was great, we had great memories of mills tavern over the years. I realize prices have gone up...but $52.00 for a steak with 25% fat left on it. It should have been trimmed to be in line with that price.And The beer list is poor, the ‘Wedge salad” was very disappointing as was the French onion soup. We did not order dessert, but the lovely waitress brought us a small bowl of vanilla ice cream, which was lovely.

Mills is one of my most favorite restaurants in Providence... I'be reserved the same table for more than five years now, and this was my second visit in a week. Management seems to be getting a little weird about Reservations particularly for repeat customers when they are “at capacity,” which is a little disappointing when specific reservations are not honored. But the food is spectacular, the service is second to none, and the wine list is awesome.

Steaks came 1 hr 10 mins after order. One 14oz strip came med well (ordered med rare) yet so cold to touch that butter didn't even melt on it. The other 14oz strip was ordered medium, came well done and curled like an old shoe. Not kidding. It was so bad another diner literally called over to ask if we ordered them like that! Manager came over to “apologize” that they were really busy and having an off night, but so what? It should never have been that late, and certainly should not have been served. Complete fail. We left, uninterested in the offer of some thing else that held no reasonable promise of being any better. Do yourselves a favor and hit Flemings instead.

We had a wonderful dinner here on Saturday. I mentioned in the reservation booking that it was my partners birthday. The staff left a birthday card on the table. We had the oysters and caviar appetizer. Very nice dish. We both ordered steaks for dinner. Delicious. The bread pudding with a candle for dessert was a lovely end to a great meal. Our server Katie was friendly and attentive.
