Bellavista Restaurant has such a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The service was absolutely impeccable, from the owners personally coming to our table to greet us, to the friendly waitress and skilled bartender who made sure everything was perfect. Everyone was kind and attentive, especially our waitress who was so patient with the children and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious with generous portions, and every dish was full of flavor. Our favorites were the Chicken Marsala and the Grilled Chicken Alfredo — both were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The drinks were also very good and complemented the meal perfectly.

I definitely recommend visiting Bellavista if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm, elegant dining experience.

Good food! HORRIBLE SERVICE. YET THEY ADDED GRATUITY 🙄 OWNERS UNAWARE OF the surroundings and their employees as their employees were vaping, smoking, hookah killing time in the corner by the DJ booth doing everything and anything but not on top of the customers, BAD BAD we went there and spent almost $400 for two people, THE service was AWFUL ! food SAVED the day! Excellent food and flavors THE BARTENDERS 10 out of 10 because they were on top of us not the server. The server should not be a server. TRAIN YOUR STAFF !

When I first walked in, I honestly didn’t think I was going to have such a great experience, but I was completely surprised. I’ve been to several good Italian restaurants, and I didn’t expect the food here to be that good, but it was amazing. I ordered the Penne & Chicken alla Vodka, cooked perfectly al dente with a fresh, creamy sauce full of rich tomato flavor. My son had the Jumbo Party Wings, beautifully presented with a flower on top — almost too good to eat! The wings were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. Service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Every bite was delicious — highly recommended!

Absolutely ridiculous. Earlier this afternoon I tried to reserve a table online for 7:30pm for Valentine’s Day. Google assistant said it would call and reserve a table, but to no avail. I tried to reserve online directly through the website, and the reservation page is completely down. I tried calling SEVERAL TIMES at 5pm, when they open, only to get completely ignored (they don’t even have a voicemail set up for me to leave a message). I feel completely helpless in this situation and thanks to the insane incompetence of this establishment, Mona Lisa Providence has RUINED OUR VALENTINE’S DAY!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE THEY WILL JUST IGNORE YOU!!! Absolutely ridiculous, this is NOT how ANY professional conducts business AT ALL. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

I recently hosted my sister’s bridal shower at Mona Lisa, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was beyond delicious—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making sure every guest was well taken care of.

It was a flawless event, and I’m so grateful to Mona Lisa for helping make my sister’s bridal shower such a memorable celebration. I highly recommend them for any special event—or even just a fantastic meal!

We tried to book on OpenTable to no avail. We tried calling and no recording or voicemail. Their hours on google said they were open. We decided to try and arrived to a dark, closed, place and not a very good looking place from the outside. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I also don’t like to waste time and also to see the basic tenets of running a business just simply ignored.

We made reservations at this place through Open Table. The restaurant's website made it look nice. The hours were posted. When we got there, the place was locked up tight, and the sidewalk in front of it was a sheet of ice. I'm writing this so nobody tries to go there and winds up breaking their neck! The bartender at the place we wound up instead said Mona Lisa had been closed for six months.

We get to the restaurant and it's closed! Why would this app allow you to make a reservation at a closed restaurant?

The service and food was good, I would only return if the music was not so loud, if felt like a night club and not a restaurant . I couldn't speak across the table!

Food: we didn’t get to try pasta as we wanted something quick to have but we did try the calamari and one of their sushi rolls. It’s pretty drenched in sauce, so there’s a lot of flavor to unpack. It’s a lot of sweet chili and it’s overall savory and sweet. I think it would be better if they ease off the sauce just a little bit and let the natural flavors come through.

Service: our server was very quick to get everything settled for us to have our meal

Ambiance: it’s a lot smaller inside with nice modern Renaissance artwork. The entire lighting is all red, but I don’t think it’s truly fitting to the restaurant vibe. It kinda almost feels like you’re in a club. Personally I think if they found more classic artwork to add more touch to the restaurant, I think that would help it bring that vibe of “Mona Lisa.”

Location accommodation: it’s nearby Federal Hill, and there is parking on the side of the restaurant.

Seems like the restaurant suffers from an identity crisis. Does it want to be a restaurant or a lounge bar? The variety of cuisine is confusing ( some Italian, sushi, and some Dominican). I can say that if u are going to be on Federal Hill the Italian food should be good and it was not.

This was our first time dining at Mona Lisa, and def will return. It has a hip vibe upon entry, with some pulsing beats in the background. Our party of 6 includes hard of hearing friends, so this was a little bit of a challenge, but there was good energy in the dining room. Service was very attentive and the menu is eclectic. It is mostly Italian, with additional flair from Puerto Rico and Sushi. I am keto and a friend has a gluten allergy — not a problem. The kitchen accommodated us beautifully. My salmon with secret sauce was delish. The portions are very generous (you might have lunch for tomorrow). There were at least two birthday celebrations that night. Fun place to celebrate. Thanks for a great dinner!
