The atmosphere was fantastic! Country music, moonshine, and good food. I am even impressed that you can even catch a live show. Pull up your bootstraps, and let's go.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible experience. Ordered take out thru Grub Hub, 15 mins later I Walked in the door and it took over 4 minutes for someone to come ask why I was there. The hostess were not present and a bar tender had to step out from behind the bar to help after watching me wait for 4-5 minutes. They then asked to see my order which I showed them. They wouldn't accept email confirmation, text messages confirmation, or even digital photos, which is all I had cause I don’t have the Grub Hub app. I began looking for the information when The missing hostess came back and offered me my food without having to show all the bs stuff they were asking for. After THEIR EMPLOYEE handed me MY food their manager/bar tender, Christian I think his name was, came out of know where and ripped my order out of my hand after the hostess handed it to me. Mind you this same manager gave me my order no problem last week(same order, same method of showing them it’s my food) . I showed them a photo id with my name on it matching the order on top of countless other methods of verification and they still wouldn't give me my food. I've been going here for years and will never spend a dollar of my money here again. I've ordered through grub hub to this tee and never had to jump through these hoops to get my food . Terrible experiences all around here. Not to mention the manager/bar tender getting into a physical scuffle with myself and ripping my bag of food open. I will never come back here. Not to mention the food is well overpriced for what It could be. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here to dine or takeout as the experience I’ve had here recently was absolutely horrible.

Has great Nashville hot chicken sandwich, special alcohol options were nice, other options don't stand out as much, but the live show is nice to chill and watch

Holy smokes. Hands down this place serves the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. I was so utterly floored that I wild literally make a trip to Providence just to eat that perfection (I’m from Florida). This chef should get a Michelin star, if they don’t have one already.
Came here on a comedy bus tour for my sister’s birthday and it blew me away and reminds me what a great culinary culture thrives here.
Awesome ambiance, great vibes, unbelievably great breakfast!

Had a great lunch with friends at Moonshine Alley today. Cristian is a top notch server & bartender. He was by himself but balanced it beautifully. Very personable and checked in repeatedly to make sure we had everything we needed.
Food was delicious. One friend is from “the south” and was very impressed with the southern flavor (including the tea). I had the “Ring of Fire” chicken wrap & it was perfect as were the hand cut fries. The others had the steak sandwich, strawberry salad, waffle fries. Everyone was happy & full from the generous portions.
Thanks for a great first experience and thank Cristian for us. Looking forward to coming back.

My wife and I saw the restaurant on RI restaurant week and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad we did! We absolutely loved the food. My wife got the pulled pork with slaw and mac n cheese, I got the half a rack of ribs, with slaw and hand cut fries. Both meals were delicious.

Moonshine is a fun, public type setting and menu with a southern vibe. We had the crab fritters, pork empanada and a chicken and bacon type of pizza using naan bread crust. Very good and very filling. Service could use a little bit more attention as the order took an unusual long time, especially considering how few customers were in the restaurant, and had to ask the waitress to check with the kitchen. We will return in the future.

I needed a spot to grab lunch before the boat tour at the landing. I found this spot right across from the parking garage. ( paid $18 for the day).
I saw this place it was empty but it looked inviting. Christian greeted me and made me feel welcome. He answered all of my questions and the food was so good. I got the garlic hot wings and a mule. And he checked on me and even talked to me for a bit. He was super nice and pretty cool. This was my first encounter in Rhode Island ( I'm from Texas) and I'm glad I went to this restaurant and met this bar tender.
