Honestly to start off it was horrible service and waiting time! They said their app had a glitch which honestly was hard to believe because everyone was waiting for AT LEAST an hour so might’ve just overbooked (we did our reservation weeks ago) we got a horrible seats right behind reception, it took 30 minutes to even get a dipping cup for soy-sauce over an hour for sushi (1 roll and it was very poorly cut and assembled falling apart as i ate it) for 80-100 dollars u would expect better, our reservation was at 8:45 we didn’t get seated until 11:50.

OMG DELISH. We ordered ALOT of food and for the fact that we spent a little over 120 all together, the portions were very very generous. The spicy tuna crispy rice is incredible and the pork dumplings were out of this world. The fish was fresh, fatty and packed with all of the right flavors. You cannot go wrong with Nami.

Nami has some of the best food in Providence let alone sushi! We came pretty early on a chilly Friday night and had no issues finding a table.
The restaurant itself is dimly lit but inviting and hosts a large bar. We were sat close to there. I enjoyed our waitress and the server she was training. They offered prompt and kind service. There was also a meal deal where you could order a selection of sushi rolls, appetizers, or classic rolls for a cheaper price.
For my dinner I ordered the spicy scallop, Samurai, and salmon with mango. They also brought out spicy mayo and eel sauce for us. The sushi is fresh, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are high quality. I thought the prices were reasonable as well.
This is definitely a gem among Italian restaurants and I highly recommend! Parking can be tricky but there are normally spots along side streets you can park at and walk over.

Derek was an absolute gem. He was the sweetest person I’ve ever met! My matcha buttercream crepe was stale so he got me a new dessert and it was delicious! The ganache chocolate cake was to die for. And the way he took out the dessert menu with a smile warmed my heart. Truly would die for Derek. Give him a raise. Also thank you for not opening laughing at me for drunkly singing all the words to the Kali Uchis and Tyler the Creator songs. Whoever was on Aux should also get a raise. Best way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you to the whole staff (especially Derek, he really made my night)🫶🏻🥹

Our 1st time here & we made reservations which I highly recommend, staff was super friendly and helpful in every way along with delicious fresh food, sushi was unbelievable and there is small parking lot in back if street parking is not available, decor was very nice & deffenitly will be back.

I dined at Nami on 10/4/25, I ordered the pork soup dumplings and they were to severed to my mother and I raw and cold. I didn’t order anything else after that. Although the dumplings were removed from the bill and the waitress was apologetic I felt as though the restaurant could have done more as this is a serious issue! The drinks weren’t bad but not good enough for me to rate above 1 star due to being served raw pork. This was my first time here and unfortunately my last!

Nami is definitely underrated. They werent very busy on Friday night, service was prompt and quick. Drinks, apps, and the sushi itself were very good and tasty, they even had a special going which was worth the money. Cant really say a bad thing about it, perfect for date nights!

The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful — almost too pretty to eat! The wonton soup was warm and comforting, packed with delicious flavors, and the crab Rangoon was crispy, creamy, and absolutely addictive. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience enjoyable and relaxed. Whether you’re a sushi lover or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. This review is for my amazing crewmate, Nami the Navigator! She’s super smart, scary when she’s mad (seriously, don’t touch her treasure 😰), and she NEVER lets us get lost. One time we were about to crash into a storm and DIE but Nami was like “Luffy you idiot, steer left!!” and saved us all!
Also—SHE CAN FIGHT! Ever since she got that zappy staff thing, she’s been shocking the crap outta people!! It’s awesome! ⚡️😆
She draws super cool maps, knows all about weather, AND helps us find treasure (as long as she gets 98% of it… yeah, she does that a lot).
We wouldn’t be anywhere without her. Literally. We’d just be lost in the middle of the ocean, eating all the meat and dying of boredom.
THANK YOU, NAMI!! YOU’RE THE BEST!! (But also please stop charging me interest on meat I already ate... 😭)
