This was the first time my friend and I have ever been here. We had such an amazing time. The people were great. The food was delicious. The music was out of this world. It was awesome. We will definitely be back. It might just be our regular spot 12 out of 10 rating.

Always amazing! One of my favorite spots in RI — food, drinks, service, and environment on point! And now that those new stairs are in, I can wear some cute shoes:) Thank you!

I visited during Providence Restaurant Week, when they offered a prix-fixe menu, and everything from the drinks to the food was DELICIOUS! The ambience is very sexy and cozy! Highly recommend!

We tried Needle & Thread during Providence Restaurant Week and it was fabulous. Drinks were amazing and the short ribs were so delicious. The interior is gorgeous and adds to the speakeasy vibe. We will definitely visit again!

Celebrated a 40th birthday and they so kindly gave us complimentary shot. Drinks were so good and the atmosphere is 10/10

Amazing atmosphere, love the vibe. The only improvement I would suggest is more servers. Besides that's great place to kick back and enjoy the great positive energy and culture.

We enjoyed our second visit to Needle & Thread. We were there for Restaurant Week's prix fixe menu and while we thought prep, presentation and taste were 4 stars the portions for the two apps and one of the entrees was on the small size. The space is great and love the aesthetic keeping some of the historic look and feel. This visit was a more crowded room and so the noise level was a little louder than our previous visit. None of these less than 5 stars elements was an huge negative and so we will be back again to enjoy the space and food.

If you were trying to hard and opened a bar, then stuck an antique sewing machine in the corner to make it swanky, this is what you'd get.

They were out of ingredients for the drink I specifically went there to get, and then their food made both of us sick. But probably fine for a date you want to impress if you have $100 to spare.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible. That staircase makes it barely high heel accessible.

Great meal at Needle & Thread before a show at PPAC. Open table booking was super easy. Drinks were delicious, though they were out of the ingredients for the first requested. The food was great as well. I had the fish & chips and hubby had the blackened chicken sandwich which was definitely the winner of the night,

I can only speak on behalf of cocktails here but holy moly they are fantastic. There's often a steady amount of people here on the weekend with a live dj that keeps the atmosphere fun and lively. Service is always friendly and as prompt as it can be at a sometimes packed bar.
