Looking for a fun new cocktail spot, we joined friends at Needle & Thread. The food was certainly good, the cocktails were ok, and our server was friendly and nice. And she tried really hard to overcome some weird vibes. They were out of one beer. And another beer. And the substitute suggested was not the same kind of beer at all. My Sidecar was delicious and served-properly-up. But my friend ordered the same drink and it arrived on the rocks. Espresso martinis contained no espresso. Our tacos all had 2 tortillas, one stacked under another, so the bottom one was cold. And everything just took a long time. The staff was very clearly working hard to please their customers, but it felt like management had let them down. As a former server, I tolerate a lot before complaining. But I don't think I'd return to Needle & Thread.

I've been wanting to try Needle and Thread for a while now but was sadly disappointed. We waited 17 minutes after being seated for our waitress to finally come to our table and order our drinks. It wasn't very busy at all, maybe half full, and our waitress just kept walking by us without even a, "be with you in a moment." We order our drinks and appetizer. Those come out. Drinks were good, and the charcuterie board was great. However, I had to go find our waitress to ask her for silverware and plates about 10 minutes later. No check-in to see how the apps were. She takes our food order, both of our drinks were empty and doesn't ask if want another round. Had to find her again. Food comes out by the food runner, waitress walks by and says, "enjoy" and no check-in to see how it was. I got the burger, which was very good, but the fries were cold and rubbery. My wife got the half chicken, which was also good, but the veggies where very cold. Again, no check-in to see how the food was, no check-in if we needed another drink. Overall a very poor experience.

For the price, the food was not great. Steak was extremely fatty and didn't seem to be the actual cut they were advertising, short rib was dry and lacked flavor. French fries were the best part of the meal. Service was spotty, drinks were average. It looked great online and we were very disappointed by the actual quality of the food.

Went for "girl dinner". Very cute, salad was a little petite, but yummy food and fun time!! Awesome waitstaff, attentive and friendly.

Lovely place with ample parking across the street. Delicious drinks and food that are unique in my opinion. Waitstaff was attentive and helpful when we had questions about the menu and drinks. They kept our table clean and filled water and checked in on us often. They had a dj but we didn't stay long enough to hear them unfortunately. Overall great place.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Our server took an unusually long time to greet us and take our order. The food—simple dishes like pasta, salad, and fries—took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Under normal circumstances I would be more understanding, but a table seated at the same time as us received their drinks, meals, and check within 45 minutes. I asked for an update on our order twice and was repeatedly told it was “coming right out,” only for it to arrive more than an hour later. When our food finally did arrive, it was lukewarm. The pasta sauce was watery, the salad was soggy, and the fries appeared to have been seasoned with sugar instead of salt. Additionally, the chicken was extremely salty and nearly inedible. Overall, the service and food quality were far below expectations.

I made a reservation 2 weeks ahead. I arrived 10 min before my reservation. The bar was closed. 15 min after the published opening time, I called to inquire what the problem was. I never received a phone call. The restaurant never opened that weekend.
