It's really sad because this location is super convenient, but there is a customer that is always there and they make the whole restaurant reek of something you definitely don't want to smell when you are trying to enjoy a meal. It is so bad that if we see the customer in the window we just won't go in and find a new place to eat. I can't imagine we are the only people that have been turned off by the smell of this and I'm honestly sad that I even have to write this but it has been over 20 times we have just decided to eat somewhere else.
During my recent visit with friends and kids, we found the staff to be less welcoming than we had hoped. The waitress seemed a bit rude, especially towards the children. Additionally, the ice cream we ordered had some ice chunks in it, which was disappointing. I believe there’s an opportunity for improvement in both service and food quality, but based on this experience, I might consider other options in the future. Not going back!
Is okay 👍
I don't want to even kill the nostalgia of this restaurant that has been around since I been a kid. After all the yrs opened, you would think the experience would be a bit better. But you get what you pay for. But I guess the ice cream part of this restaurant is what keeps doors open. Sorry Newport creamy, you guys were awesome as a kid growing up. But I guess I didn't have much to compare to then.
It's been many years since we came together and enjoyed breakfast with our mom at her favorite place.
The staff was awsome. The food was plentiful.
Honestly, you won't believe this, but some of the best fish & chips I've ever had. If you go on a Friday when many folks don't eat meat, they have some of the most crispy, delicious fish and chips around. And my daughter loves the ice cream obviously :)
Consistent quality and a friendly ambiance.
