Ogie’s is the quintessential 21-to-40 something hipster Providence hangout spot. You can eat at the restaurant without alcohol (or age restriction).
Its charm comes from a laissez-faire feel: people with dogs, various random bar happenings, high-low culture banter. Food is exceptionally prepared American cuisine with zero health consciousness.
I would highly recommend going. It is wicked unlike a local bar, though.

Fun themed bar. I don't drink but they were able to make every drink into a mocktail!
The food was ok. All fried, kind of upset my stomach.
The tater tots (regular, not the curried ones which are underwhelming) and Mac and cheese bites are worth it.
Gender inclusive restrooms.
Vegetarian options: Don't expect anything healthy but there are plenty of fried vegetarian foods.
Kid-friendliness: Coworker brought their teen here and it was fine, but it's still a (busy) bar so be wary.

Be careful when going here. I went Trivia Tuesday on 11/26 and was charged $8 for a Michelob ultra beer by a an older guy with a white beard. I’ve been trying to call the phone number to speak to a manager and let them know this is what’s happening as I looked at their beer menu and none of the beers similar to michelob ultras are nowhere near $8 but they don’t pick up their phones.

My sisters and I stopped here after hitting the Roger Williams Zoo back in August and it was fantastic! We were looking for a place to eat and one of my sisters saw Ogies and wanted to give it a go. We absolutely loved the trailer park decor and the set up. The menu was simple but the food was so good. One of my sisters got a Doritos fried chicken sandwich which she said was amazing, and my other sister got a grilled cheese which she loved as well. We got a basket of loaded tots and honestly they were better than I was expecting.
Even the bathrooms were fun! The one I went to said "What would Dolly do?" which was accompanied by Dolly Parton music, and my sister went into the other which said "What would Woody do?" and was playing Woody Nelson in there. It was an all around fun atmosphere and great food!
Whenever I hear someone is going to Rhode Island, I recommend this place to them. I can't wait to come back!

Fun as heck. I would like to give them 7 stars for atmosphere. Who knew 50's decor, 80's punk rock, and 2020's food stylings would go so well together?
I come here often, alone and with friends and it’s such a good spot. They have my favorite beer, the montucky cold snack, and their food is a perfect add on to their ice cold drinks. The tater tots are so good. Plus, everything is priced so I can actually visit here without having to worry about breaking the bank.
