I am a regular at this location and usually have no issues picking up my food in the mornings. I entered the establishment today with my natural hair and tight curls. An employee named ming gave me a disgusted look after seeing my hair ad was incredibly irritated and rude. I don’t get treated poorly when I straighten my hair but I was treated as an annoyance today.P.S. The fish is bad in the afternoon as if it had been left out but good in the morning.

I have reviewed this spot more than once, but I need to update everyone. I don't get sick often. I did get a pretty nasty cold about a month ago. The wonton soup kicked me right back into shape. Good thing because it was time to go back on a poke run...Oishi has me covered no matter what I want. Here I am sitting here again because I don't feel like making my own ramen....and I am hard to please when it comes to ramen. I special ordered it to fit me! They wowed me! If you haven't gone yet, that's fine, I love my preferred seating.

Sadly after dining here, I understand the 2.3 rating. Unfortunately I'm going to have to agree with it, and I wish I'd checked first, but for some bizarre reason they have a very high rating on doordash which I'm starting to think are paid for because it's far from the first time I've seen some really bad restaurants get good reviews on there. Anyway, I ordered the tuna tata, the edamame, and the yellowtail scallion maki. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before digging in, as I tend to do (working on that!) but I did get some of the yellowtail maki just to show you what I mean-I'll get to it later in the review. The tuna tata was actually really amazing. I would get it again and would come back here just for that and I totally recommend it! Really satisfied with that and it alone was a 5 star dish. Unfortunately, the rest of my meal was very disappointing. The edamame had a really weird fishy taste and smell-I've never had bad edamame before, but this one I couldn't finish. I don't know if it was cross contaminated or what. As for the yellowtail scallion maki, the fish was fresh-what little of it there was. First of all, it had rice on the outside of the roll, like a California roll would have. That is NOT how a yellowtail scallion roll is supposed to be made! The rice is supposed to be inside the seaweed, with the seaweed being the final wrapping, and there is only supposed to be a very small amount of rice, with yellowtail making up the bulk of the roll. Well this one NOT ONLY came with a thick layer of rice on the outside, but it also had rice on the inside too! Taking up more than half the volume of the roll inside in most cases, in addition to all that rice outside! Then there was a pathetic, paltry little sliver of yellowtail. It was fresh and tasty, but barely there! Might as well call it a rice roll. I had to peel off the outer layer of rice to be able to enjoy it and taste the yellowtail at all. And when I did, I was really in shock at just how skinny the roll was and it was still filled with mostly rice! It was less than half the portion of fish you'd expect to get per roll and that other sushi places serve. I simply cannot give a high rating to places that skimp you-this is one of my absolute top pet peeves as it shows that a restaurant does not care about or value their customers. I'll come back for the tuna tata but I'm not exactly enticed to try anything else off their menu. However, being that this was my first order from them, I'll give them a second chance with some different menu items and update my review accordingly-it's only fair. Based on this first impression my recommendation would be to stick to the tuna tata or similar dishes. Btw-just for reference, since it may not appear so in the picture-I actually have very small skinny hands! The roll is just that tiny once you remove the outer rice!

Love their food, HATE their incompetence. Everytime I order sushi for delivery, the app doesn’t have the option to order Eel sauce or Spicy Mayo, so I call, each time asking for it to be put in with my order, order arrives and no Eel or spicy Mayo. Now I have 5orders of sushi rolls and nothing to put on them. Thanks.

I ordered the beed bibipmap and it felt like someone sprayed bear mace in my mouth/throat/stomach and I am not the first one they did this to. It said nothing in the description about it being spicy. It made me so sick that my whole face turned red, I got a huge migraine, had difficulty breathing, and struggled not to vomit all while I was at work. This was 9 hours ago and I am still feeling sick. I paid $18.50 for something I took a few bites out of and threw away. Their honey lemon tea and Doriyaki are great but their food isn't worth it

Whether we eat in the restaurant or order delivery, Oishi is consistent each time. Always fresh, always delicious, always generous in portions, I can go on and on. I have had dishes of all Asian cuisine here and each raise the bar of any I’ve had. Korean Gyudon is amazing, General Tso’s combination is a great value for incredibly fresh chicken, every sushi roll, nigiri, or sashimi is also perfection each time! After moving to Rhode Island in 2020, Oishi is a staple in our home, and will be for years to come. I bring out of towners here first over all spots. I certainly recommend to all!Dietary restrictions: My vegetarian wife has many options to choose from and she loves each one!Kid-friendliness: My two kiddos (both under 3) love it inside and love the food!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access for family I have brought in wheel chairs

If I could give zero stars I would. Cheese wontons contain seafood but nowhere does it say that. That is a common allergen, it's incredibly unsafe to not lost that.

Couldn't track Uber Driver - 0/10 Food was terrible, got diarrhea the next day 0/10 The way the food was served was very lame, it was like they just dumped everything together and called it a day, definitely do not recommend this place.

The boba here is top notch. There are so many different flavors and options. There are a great few dishes like the all the appetizers, yakitori and kimchi rices.
