As a guyanese , who came from NY ,the food wasn't bad but I had so much expectations, if your not guyanese and your trying this ,it would appear really good.but if your Guyanese and trinidadian looking for something authentic, this isn't it. Unfortunately not adding flavors and trying to make it something else with no effort did not pan out right.
The food is absolutely delicious, but the lady behind the counter is so unbelievably rude. There are many food options in Providence it would be beneficial to them to be nicer to their customers in order to stand out.
I had the curry chicken/ chicken curry, cook-up rice and curry channa and aloo (chickpeas and potatoes) and it was delicious! I was licking my fingers when I was done. Real authentic West Indian food. Great customer service as well. Blessings and prosperity to your business.
