Good food. Great service. But it was freezing cold in there during ourvearly November visit. Every patron kept their jacket on.

Food was good although needed some seasoning, they however plate the dishes beautiful, the ambiance was beautiful, modern, and up and coming. Parking can be a little bit tricky.

Service was good, food was ok. I had the Bolognese lasagna and it was pretty good. I think my expectations were very high for the pasta, no complaints at all just would say it was... Good.

The dishes my husband and I ordered were both delicious, but he ended up liking mine more (pasta cacio e pepe) :-)
The place was busy and seemed short staffed, but our server was still helpful and polite. It’s a cute neighborhood place. I’d be interested to see what the Newport location is like.

I ordered takeout, so this review will focus on the food itself. The host was friendly and got my order in without any issues.
I ordered the Polpette (meatballs), Spaghetti Chittara Freschi, and the Tiramisu.
Pasta:
The pasta was definitely the highlight of the meal, as I had hoped. The shrimp tasted fresh and the noodles had a distinct texture that you only get from fresh pasta. Overall, I’d give the pasta an 8.5 to 9 out of 10 it was excellent.
Meatballs (Polpette):
At $10, I expected two or three larger meatballs, similar to what I’ve had at other Italian restaurants. Instead, they were closer in size to frozen grocery-store meatballs, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t make up for the portion. They lacked seasoning, and the texture was off; soft and squishy rather than moist with a firm bite. The sauce was fine, but overall I’d rate the meatballs a 5 out of 10. It may have just been an off day, but I wouldn’t order them again.
Tiramisu:
This was the biggest letdown, especially since the host had mentioned how popular it is. Two issues stood out:
The ladyfingers were drenched in espresso, leaving a pool of liquid at the bottom of the container.
The mascarpone layer was runny and overwhipped, to the point where it slid off the spoon.
Because of that, I’d rate the tiramisu a 4 out of 10.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, the pasta made the meal worthwhile and I’d definitely return for it. However, the meatballs and tiramisu fell short of expectations, so I’ll likely skip those on future visits.
