We had a wonderful dinner and evening. The food was incredible. We loved the oysters with urchin and caviar. The beef tartare was spectacular and the duck was sublime. Lovely.

The 5-course dinner is expensive and less available, but the two desserts are too much in my opinion. As a wild boar that doesn't like raw and fatty meat, it's better not to eat this kind of fine chaff.

Experience food in a way that takes you out of Rhode Island and into another world. All the food here will taste completely different from any other restaurant in NE and is crafted in a way that speaks to one's soul with every bite.

Super friendly and on point service. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and the first course was such a delightful surprise (don't want to ruin it for you.) Wine pairing was also delicious and well paired.

Delicious delicacies and amazing staff took care of my FIL's birthday dinner perfectly. Menu delicious, drinks delicious, dessert delicious. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The beef tartar is out of this world and the black pasta is literally to die for. ???

Dined at Persimmon last night. Still talking about it this morning.Perfect experience, from cocktails and appetizers at the bar to dinner and dessert. Even our bottle of Syrah was served at the correct temperature.Have always loved the building for its atmosphere and the upgrades made by the owners have done a wonderful job enhancing it.Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. A true dining experience.Think we have a new favorite place.Parking: No more difficult to find then any other city.

We loved the experience of Persimmon!! The pictures online really do not do it justice. It is nestled into a really cute neighborhood in Providence and the interior is very homey. Everything on the menu sounded delicious so we ordered a lot of things! Everything was amazing and we were really really impressed with everything we ordered, from drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts. This is probably the best food in all of Providence! My only complaint is that the dinner took a long long time, but because the food was so so so good, we didn't mind waiting. I would highly highly recommend!

Really enjoyed getting a lot of plates here and sharing family style. They have a lot of servers here who are always around and working. Replacing our silverware and share plates for each course. Refilling waters. Asking if we would like another glass of wine. Very attentive. Things were brought out as separate courses, one at a time so I’d say you could spend a long time in here if you wanted. We were there from about 5:30-8pm.Good presentation. It seems like they change the menu often. The menu had the full date on it which makes me assume it is changed every single night.I enjoyed foods I wouldn’t normally like. A very fun experience. I’ve heard about this place for so many years and it was my first time here. It was a bit more casual atmosphere than I expected but they did fine dining well. Cute plating. They had really nice wine glasses and stuff. I liked that all the waitstaff seemed to know a lot about everything. No one ever said “I don’t know”It seemed to get really full around 6:30 on a weekday; so I would say reservations are recommended. In total we spent about 500 for Four with drinks and multiple courses. I would definitely visit again.
