Our Friday night reservation was for 50 minutes before we were finally seated - as they made us wait for the only 2 person table in the dining room to open up. The restaurant was extremely noisy. They didn’t seem to have worked out who covered our table, so ordering a cocktail was delayed, and delivery was also slow - not coming until our food arrived. The portions were very small. We’ve all seen our protein portions shrink over the last few years, but I took a chance and requested that they supplement the meager portion of pasta and butter (pasta!) that they had plated for my granddaughter so she wouldn’t go home hungry, which they were happy to do, though they also doubled the price on my bill, elevating the cost to an entre-level menu selection. On this cold winter night we had to eat fast with our coats on. The place was freezing cold.
I like this restaurant normally. The apps are great, they oyster bar is appealing, it has a friendly atmosphere, but the service on a busy night is so poor that it makes it a pretty miserable experience.

We enjoyed this wonderful Italian restaurant. It’s tucked away in an unassuming but quaint location and delivers upscale food better than I’ve found in Italy. Definitely worth the time it took to drive from Boston.

Service and food was wonderful. My issue is the price of draft beer. I had a micro brew which is priced at $11. Pricy but duable. My brother had 2 Miller lites and 2 Narragansetts. Priced also at $11. Wow that's crazy. So with tax and tip, the 4 beers cost him over $50. Those low end beers usually cost $4 or $5. It would be great to price your beers according! Thanks, Jim M

It's not a bad place if you're craving oysters for happy hour and are in the area walking by. I've been a few times and the beers are pricey considering they are $11 across the board even your regular beer. They don't have a beer menu that shows any of the prices. You might as well go to Parkside on Tues or Fridays for $1 oyster and better draft beers for ~$7, same with Mills Tavern they have buck a shuck everyday and bar bites deals and better drafts also for way less ~$7 and both Mills and Parkside shows there beer prices.
BEWARE! their half price appetizer deal does not include all their apps, how you figure out which ones are included is still a mystery to me as the server made no mention of this when we ordered. He was apologetic and took half off one of the items but it would make more sense to tell us before ordering or have the specifics on the menu. Feels like false advertising as their sign outside doesn't indicate specific appetizers being included/excluded.
That being said, the appetizers were delicious and large but very expensive ($23/21). All their seafood was top quality with a great mix of flavours. Would recommend if money is no object but maybe double check the bill is correct.

Woah. I am still beside myself by how good this place was. Got the Margherita pizza as an app, delicious. Everyone was blown away by their entrees (we all tasted each others and the salmon and crab dish was my personal favorite). Best hot and dirty martini I've ever had. Also, our server Gianna was absolutely lovely and never missed a beat. Will be returning soon, probably between 4-6 for happy hour (half off apps).
