... but John fixed it.
Lemme explain.

Evidently three of the waitstaff called out. When we got there, we were greeted by a clearly exhausted waitress, struggling to be happy we were there. We got seated... then proceeded to wait, without being helped at all... after 15 - 20 minutes, I finally said this to, what I presume was a floor manager, or the like.

He promptly helped us and explained what was happening. He did his best to make sure we were accommodated.

I've been a waiter before. I know how hard it is. I know how it SUCKS when you're understaffed.

So I want to thank John for treating us kindly.

And then also, the food was delicious. I got the Havana and my partner got the Cobb Salad. (And she loved the chocolate cover strawberries!)

Alyssa F was amazing! 12/10 will return for her delightful service. We kept not being ready to order and she designed a brilliant system to have us place our menus a certain way to signal her. Amazing.

For the second year in a row, my office held its annual holiday party at G Pub. Excellent service from the planning stage to the night of the event.

We’ve enjoyed Jesse as our server many times- he’s a treasure! Atmosphere is relaxed and the food is always great! Lots of tasty vegetarian options and elevated pub fare!

Horrible service . Was sat at 8pm & food never came out ! After an hour later was told kitchen ain't making that food anymore an was given a tiny menu . Everything down to the server and manager on that night left all 6 of us never wanting to return after spending $600 on just apps and drinks . I would not recommend this for any couples in their 30's . Staff came out an served us a birthday dish for our friend and being a server she should have waited until we were all seated . I can go on an on but it was a horrible night so we went to another place downtown that made up for it and went to black sheep we was the only people there an it was better than the G pub !

Avoid this place at all costs. My friends and I had a reservation and they seated us 20 minutes after our time. We wouldn't have minded but after they apologized and gave us some menus, and glasses-Not a single person came by to even give us water. We ended up having to leave after another 30-40 mins of being ignored bc we were so hungry and thirsty. I was so disappointed, my friends and I don't get together often. The service was so bad it didn't even feel real.

Can't even rate the food bc they never let us try it.

Had a much better time at Asia Grille in Cranston.

Look man, I REALLY don’t normally do this. But we had a reservation at 5:45. Showed up on time, and it took us 20 minutes to be seated. A gentleman apologized for our wait, and offered us a free appetizer. We then waited 40 minutes without any wait staff coming up to our table. We had to leave and take our chances elsewhere. I understand that it’s a Saturday night, but a wait like that is unacceptable. Kinda crazy they forgive about us after initially apologizing and offering an app on the house.

The food is really bad and poor quality and cold and suggy. The place is also very dirty, no toilet paper no soap and no paper towels in men’s restrooms. They closed the area of video games at 7pm no explanation we asked a staff she stated it’s closed and ignored us. The pool table area is old and outdated and napkins and food on the floor gross. 🤮

We went to a PC pregame party and they went out of their way to open early and make us comfortable and hook up TVs to watch. Always a great time at G Pub.

Went here for some evening drinks with friends and for the most part the experience was decent. But while the hours posted online saying the bar closed at 2, last call was at 10:30, which was fine until “security” started closing down the bar. Then security called around saying we had 15 minutes to exit while we were just taking our first drink sips. So me and my girlfriends hit the restroom before leaving where one of the male security guards entered and yelled we had to leave. It wasn’t even 10:45. We felt SO unsafe due to his unnecessary aggressive actions. It was a weeknight and my crew was not being rowdy. I’m not sure why they felt the need to forcibly remove all guests not even 5 min after they gave us a 15 min to close warning (it wasnt even busy enough in the bar to justify the number of security idiots they had). Such a shame because we were having a decent time and the closing experience really left us with a sour feeling.

Laughably terrible service. Came in with a group of 5, and we initially thought we were being punked. We were pointed to a table by the bar and sat for 15-20 minutes without anyone coming over to us. There were probably 10 employees milling about or standing in groups and a few more behind the bar. Every time a server walked by, we would try to get their attention, but they would intentionally avoid eye contact. We eventually asked the bar tender if there was a server assigned to our area, but she also seemed confused and walked away. We sat for at least another 5-10 minutes before someone came up to the table. She apologized, introduced herself, and then said she would leave us to look at the menu. We had been looking at the menu for 30 minutes already so we insisted that she take our drink and food orders. It was a struggle for her to take down the orders, but we thought we were finally getting somewhere. At this point, we were noticing multiple other tables trying desperately to flag down any server. Would love to say that the food and drinks were great, but we never found out. Another 10 minutes went by without even a glass of water, so we respectfully informed her we were leaving. She seemed completely unfazed.

Overall, such a bizarre experience. It was definitely unfortunate and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, but the experience did make for a funny story the next day.

Came in and sat in the bar area. I got fried pickles and the spicy edamame. The fried pickles were super good. The spicy edamame was really good for the first 4 that I had and then they were overwhelmingly spicy. I'd definitely order them again and recommend them, but I'd recommend getting the sauce on the side to be able to control the spice!
