To put it plainly, this is my favorite establishment ever. Incredible incredible food, and very cheap to boot. This is the type of place where you immediately sense that the owner is someone with a mission--to serve the community by providing delicious and affordable vegan food for everyone. It scratches that itch for traditional deli food, without the animal abuse; a rare gem.
This is literally my favorite vegan place ever, and I’m not exaggerating. This is the type of place I would run if I was starting a restaurant. You can sense the owner has a mission to make vegan food available and affordable for everyone. So cheap, and ridiculously delicious food. The Zeuben is a must try.
Food is always great and I love having this place in the neighborhood. The owner really cares about giving back to the community with meal tickets and at times gives away free bread when there’s extra. The atmosphere is fun and cute with cat pictures and an adorable mural of animals eating sandwiches and ice cream. If you order your sandwich to go, the hack is to ask for oil on the side so the bag doesn’t get messy.
