Very much enjoyed this pre-concert visit to Public Kitchen & Bar. We had the warm bread and honey butter to start, as usual. Entrees were pan-seared salmon with clams and fettuccine with Italian sausage. Both excellent. Baked apple tarte for dessert. Very good. But it was the service that really made the evening. Our server August was above and beyond.

We went there before a concert at The Vets. Conveniently located to the venue. Food was great and service was efficient.

Worse meal I ever had! Ordered salmon and my husband ordered Ribeye both expensive dishes. The salmon was very fishy and had a weird aftertaste. The steak was described as a 14oz , but it was more like 8oz. The value was not there for the price we paid.

We enjoyed the food and our service was great! We had dinner prior to the ballet - it is such a convenient location. Had the entree pizzas with extra to take home / excellent!

We had tickets for a 7:30 performance at The Vets, which is located adjacent to the restaurant. I made a 6:00 dinner reservation, which seemed reasonable to me. What was not reasonable was the parking! After going around the block a couple times in terrible traffic, I finally ended up parking in a nearby lot for $27. I had dropped off my husband at the front of the restaurant, so he was able to check us in right on time. But it took my daughter and me 20 minutes to actually park and go inside. The host was charming as he showed us to our table. And our waitress, Lindsey, was calm and efficient in making sure our food (which was delicious) came out quickly. I look forward to returning to the restaurant when I don't have a time constraint. We actually made it to the theatre with 20 minutes to spare!

Very nice to see new things on the menu, like the grilled tuna. The kitchen was a little slow as it took longer than expected to get our meals but our server did his best to expedite the situation.

They make a killer martini with blue cheese stuffed olives.

Went with a friend before a concert at the Vets. Sat at the bar and had dinner and a couple of drinks. Everything was great. Very cool ambience and food was delicious. Location was awesome. Walked out and we were in our seats in about 2 minutes. Would go there again for sure.

We went to Waterfire on a Saturday and made a 7:00 reservation- no wait, seated quickly! Service was impeccable, timely and the drinks from the bar had a nice presentation. Food was amazing- two of us got the pumpkin risotto and one flat bread pizza and one chicken sandwich - all very good. We had calamari, I didn't eat it but my friends said it was great! Dessert menu looked good it we were full...beautiful restaurant and convenient location! Clean bathrooms and great decor - very enjoyable! 10/10

We enjoyed delicious sangria and an assortment of sharing plates. The steak tips were definitely the highlight! Had to get a side of fries, as their fries are some of the best around. We didn't have time for dessert as we had a show to get to, but the offerings on the menu sounded delicious.

Our waitress was wonderful (Lindsay) the bartender was attentive. The food was spot on. The hostess was super friendly. Great atmosphere and we will be back. A great downtown spot!!

We had the pleasure of being served by May, and she truly made our dining experience exceptional. She was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at just the right time. Her friendly attitude and genuine smile made us feel welcome right away. May was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations that we really enjoyed. It’s clear she cares about her guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you, May, for such wonderful service.. you made our evening extra special!

Menu is not as broad or diverse as previously ( new chef) but what we had was delicious, fresh and nicely served. Pity that they no longer offer eggplant chips. They were a crowd pleaser. The service, as always is delightful and very attentive.

As always, the food and service were excellent. But we were disappointed with the changed menu, which offered fewer smaller plates. We eat here before the symphony, so we can't take doggy bags and we don't want to sit for two hours with very full stomachs. Earlier menus had more choices; we were down to appetizers and salads. Food is still delicious but I hope they consider adding more small plates again. Our server, Robert, was gracious, helpful, and professional, checking with the kitchen on a couple of questions for us.

awful - host or manager at entrance at 10:36 telling people to “hurry up” because “we’re almost closed.” you’re located next to an entertainment venue.
