We ordered PVDonuts mini donuts as the dessert for our wedding. They were a huge hit! Our guests loved them! The staff was communicative and professional. We love PVDounts!

As soon as we walked in it felt like the soul was sucked out. I used to go to pvdonuts years ago and haven't been back since this past weekend. The person behind the counter was rude and kept having small meltdowns with an issue with the ice scoop and someone else paying with cash. The other staff seemed fine but this one person seems to put a dark cloud over this place.

I understand the service industry can be hard but other reviews have mentioned this person and it doesn't seem like a one off incident.

I can see how popular this place is! I've only been successfully able to get in here once because I just like sleeping in too much. 😆 They do have to close early if they run out of donuts. I came in and the most helpful employee greeted me and assisted me with my order. I chose the carrot cake donut and a lavender iced coffee. The coffee was delicious and didn't need my usual cream or sugar. My carrot cake donut was fresh and perfectly sweet. Very delicious. I need to try to get back here again at an earlier time.

I couldn’t be anymore grateful for the free 6 donuts I got on Sunday. I had arrived but struggled finding a parking spot but as I parked, I realized I had left my wallet at home but remembered my iPhone has all my cards hooked up but when I had gotten to the register and went to go tap to pay..I forgot I had gotten the new iPhone and none of my cards were hooked back up so they ended up giving them to me. I really appreciated that. I will say though the lady’s behind the counter did not look happy to be there. Very intimidating. Donuts are delicious as always. I was shocked to see all donuts were gone by the time I got there around 11am..I got the basic donuts the last few remaining. Still very grateful. Thank you

I’ve been to PVD Donuts a few times before, but this was my first time checking out their new spot. The new location is way bigger and so much more comfortable; lots of seating and you don’t feel crammed in.

Get there early because once a flavor sells out, that’s it! My husband and I grabbed the Carrot Cake, Vanilla Sprinkles, and a Honey Cruller. The Honey Cruller was the winner for me! Super light, flourless, and just so good. Definitely worth the visit!

Loved my server. She was high energy. Great personality. Great! Spunk donuts are okay. Only thing I worry about is there could be a risk of cross-contamination, especially if you have a nut allergy. But other than that, the selections are out of this world due to the fact that they are flavors that you don't typically see in a donut shop. Highly recommend coming here grabbing some donuts to bring to people. They offer everything from your regular bread. Brioche type donuts, cake donuts, gluten-free and the toppings and fillings are phenomenal.

The server seemed like she didn't want to be there. Her customer service was absent! The facial expressions she was sending me when I asked questions gave such negative energy I could not even enjoy my donut.... I will not return ever

This donut shop was very cozy inside and had quite a few tables. Loved the hanging plants from the ceiling.

The donuts were decadent and you’ll pay for that- but they were a delicious treat that we ate at the park while all the runners and walkers came by.

We had the blueberry fritter, chocolate cake donut, carrot cake donut, and maple bacon brioche donut. I also had the cold brew. We paid $36. My favorite was the carrot cake. I wish they had an apple fritter but their flavors rotate, as I like to try town’s apple fritters as I travel.

If I’m in town again, I’d go back.

Steps required to get into the shop.

PVDonuts – Providence, RI

PVDonuts is absolutely worth the hype! 🍩 The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh dough and creative toppings hits you, and you know you’re in for something special.

The donuts are huge, fluffy, and packed with flavor — truly next-level compared to your average shop. I loved the variety of flavors, from the fun seasonal creations to the classics done right. Each one is like a little work of art.

The staff was upbeat and friendly, keeping things moving quickly even with a line out the door. The vibe is fun and casual, perfect for grabbing a treat to start the day or sharing with friends.

If you’re in Providence, PVDonuts is a must-stop spot — indulgent, unique, and unforgettable!

Absolutely the best donuts I’ve ever had. Krispy Kreme will never even come close to these guys. One donut could definitely serve 2 people though!
