Great cocktails and appetizers. We Should have asked the bartender to turn the music down.

A Hidden Gem in Providence

The Red Door in Providence is the kind of spot that makes you fall back in love with going out. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was 10/10. Warm, welcoming, and full of personality. It reminded me of The Eddy in its heyday: flavor-forward, service-minded, and confidently cool without trying too hard.

The food? Incredible. The happy hour truffle fries were less than $4 and came out in a portion so generous it felt like a mistake (it wasn’t), with the two of us we still needed a box to take home for later. Perfectly crispy, aromatic, and addictive (and not too much truffle oil). The sliders were next-level... juicy, flavorful, and gone too quickly. The hummus plate was rich, vibrant, and beautifully plated, and the tacos? Absolute knockouts. My only concern/recommendation is the falafel on the hummus plate were very crunchy, so be careful; though they were so incredibly flavorful, I'll certainly be ordering again!

And then there’s the bar. The bartender was an absolute force... running the bar and tables with speed, grace, and a killer attitude. Friendly, focused, and faster than anyone I’ve seen in a long time. The cocktails were balanced and well-crafted, with a full bar, and so many well-crafted signature drinks.

It’s rare to find that perfect trifecta of great food, great drinks, and genuinely great service in Providence right now, but The Red Door nails it. I’ll be back, often.

I came by with a group of 6, and the food was our saving grace! I was impressed by the care taken by the Red Door team to make each dish, although common household names, different in their own way! The ambiance was the perfect balance of late night lounge and intimate edgy bar! By far our favorite item on the menu was the housemate cheesecake FANOMINAL! I will be coming back just to get that, it was so rich and delicious!

Visited for ri food fights, but had visited a few times before. The red door is always a good time! The sliders were a good size and the drinks are amazing!

Red Door is a Low lit inconspicuous bar with quite the tasty morsels. Tried a few of their sliders and would be a nice going out spot.

Came in for the BIG BURGER BLOWOUT and loved the ambience, this would be a great date night spot for cocktails and bar food. The sliders were great!

Went for RI Food Fights Burger month.
It was my 1st time in the restaurant below the club upstairs. The food was great, we liked the ambience also. The servers were nice but the service could have been a little faster.

Stop #5 on RI FOOD FIGHTS 12th Annual Big Burger Blowout #BestBurgersRI w/Carol Stuart…we both opted for the barbecue sliders: bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, fried onion shoestrings and housemade barbecue sauce…delicious! Lots of good looking options on the menu! Have been wanting to try this out for a while, worth the trip, will be back! Autocrat Coffee Milk & Vanilla Crème Brûlée next visit….maybe Grandma Helen’s Cheesecake too…
