Saturday nights have really good music. Nu-disco, DJs are awesome. Relatively good crowd. Decent drinks. Service is terrible. THEY LOST MY CREDIT CARD and tried to make me feel better by searching for it in the dumpster. When I got upset, the bartender suddenly blamed me by saying he thought I wanted to close my tab and he put it on the bar... and he put it when I wasn't there. Somebody most likely took it.For patrons who want to drink at the Red Door: always close your tab whenever you order a drink. DO NOT TRUST THE BARTENDERS WITH ANYTHING. There is a good chance they will lose your credit card. They lost mine.

Frequenting Red Door has become a ritual for my friends and myself, and for a good reason - it's a culinary destination that effortlessly marries an exceptional drink menu with an inviting ambiance and engaging events. Red Door, in my experience, is a delightful journey through flavors with menu items such as the Heihei chicken and drinks such as Oaxacacillin, and Emerald City, and an ever-changing tapestry of events, and a haven of positive vibes.

Red door is definitely one of the top cocktail places in providence. Great food also. Service is friendly and helpful.

I went to see a presentation. Several small levels as I like, very pretty and good service.

I’ve had dinner here 3 times and have always loved it. The cocktail list is thoughtful and the drinks themselves are amazing. The staff is incredible, always friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to the upstairs Friday/Saturday bartender (I never got his name) who retrieved my credit card from the roof about a month ago (I dropped it off the balcony/porch upstairs) and kept it safe for me to come back and pick up. I really appreciated that! The ability to have an intimate dining/bar experience downstairs and also dance and get a ‘party’ experience upstairs is really cool.Great music/DJs on weekends, I’ve truly never had a bad time here and will keep coming back & recommending to everyone. Also love that the tab is delivered in paperback books, it’s a nice touch. Thank you Red Door!

I went here with friends hoping for good drinks and food. We sat at a table directly across from the bar and had our drink order taken and the drinks were made quickly. The drinks were good. However, the bartender, who was also the server, never asked us if we wanted to put in food. Then we sat completely ignored for an hour. However, maybe 20 or so minutes after we received our drinks, a table of women was sat behind us, served immediately, and asked if they wanted to put in food. This pattern repeated with all other guests who arrived after us. Yet, we were never checked in with once or asked if we wanted food. We had planned to order several apps and meals. In fact, at the end of our time, we sat there with empty drinks for 15 minutes, in direct view of the bartender, until someone from our party had become annoyed enough to go up to the bar and ask for the check. We were a party of three gay men so this honestly feels like maybe it was homophobic? Why else would we have been ignored so blatantly. Will never return and will tell my community to avoid like the plague.

Came in ordered a drink and then got ignored for over an hour. Fully planned to order a meal but wasn’t ever asked. The group of woman that came in after us were asked about food after their drinks came, as you’d expect. People at the bar were also taken care of consistently. We had to go to the bar long after our drinks were empty in order to pay. Felt a little targeted considering we were three gay men and the majority of customers being taken care seemed to be cis white women. Will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend other do either especially if you happen to be queer. Expected better in a city like Providence.

Stopped by on a night where they had live jazz and their $2 oyster special, and it was a nice treat. I enjoyed the vibes and the bartender knows what he's doing. I didn't enjoy the wings and will skip them next time, but other than that I would go back in a heartbeat!

The service was great. The drink menu has some good beer selection, classic cocktails, cocktails with a twist & wine to choose from. The salad was very good as was the calamari & buffalo chicken bites. The poutine was good but was over salted, I am hoping that was a one off issue that will be better next time. Inside is small & cute but could be hard to fit a larger group if you are looking to sit down.

This place has a creative and delicious cocktail menu. The service was great and friendly. I only had a deviled egg appetizer, which was pretty good, so I can not comment on the food. The place is very quaint and worth a visit. I plan on going again. Street parking only.Parking: Finding street parking in the area is difficult, but there is a garage across the street if you are willing to pay.
