Rooftop at the Providence G

We have been to the rooftop before--usually before going to PPAC as it is super close. We went tonight before the theater and then went back after for drinks. You cannot beat the view and the staff are wonderful. We highly recommend the Rooftop!

Our waitress Michelle was attentive, accommodating, courteous and friendly. The gluten free calamari was good but not a very big portion for the price. The drinks Michelle made, for her first time, was spot on. The dinner I had was good but my wife who had the same thing as a gluten free option was disappointing in taste and didn't include the the green vegetable that was in my dinner. When asked Michelle brought a generous portion.

I have to say that our waitress made the entire night we were celebrating a birthday and wondering why there was an extra fifteen dollar charge, which was not explained on the open table app. It was definitely worth the $15.

The atmosphere was spacious and lively, (great for both personal and business dining) with warm lighting and an upscale vibe. The food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Service was exceptional, Steph gave great menu suggestions and was very upbeat and personable! For a light and refreshing drink option, I suggest the UltraViolet martini! The G pub (conveniently located on the lower level) after dinner was quite packed and casually entertaining. The bar was packed but the wait was worth a well mixed drink! Great girls night! We will be back again.

Ordered an $18 cocktail off the menu that was basically Malibu and lime juice. I guess that was poor judgment, but the price and description suggested a more refreshing and stronger drink.

The Rooftop hosted a truly amazing and memorable corporate party this holiday season. Every detail was beautifully executed, and our team had a wonderful time enjoying the warm ambiance of the fire features/city lights, delicious food, and outstanding cocktails. The staff working the event were kind, efficient, and attentive.

The planning process was seamless from start to finish. I was extremely grateful for the support and communication of the Providence G Team. This event was a tremendous success! Highly recommend hosting your next event at the Rooftop!

Providence G Rooftop is a beautiful spot with an upscale, city-chic vibe and some of the best views in downtown Providence. The rooftop itself is stylish and well designed, making it a great place for a night out, date night, or drinks with friends—especially at sunset.

The cocktails are creative and well crafted, though a bit pricey for the portions. Service was friendly and attentive, but at times felt slightly rushed when the space got busy. The food offerings were good overall, but limited; a few standout bites paired nicely with drinks, while others were solid but not particularly memorable.

What really shines here is the atmosphere—the views, music, and energy make it a fun experience. Still, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for great ambiance and a lively rooftop scene in Providence.

Amazing service, the staff went above and beyond for our group. They kept making sure each of us were taken care of, kept the drinks full, and made sure every course was perfect. Carly and Madison are an outstanding team of leaders here. If you want the best restaurant with A+ service and ambiance, Rooftop is your place.

We had a party of 4 we were sat immediately nobody came to the table for over 20 min & that was just to give us water & take a drink order. We didn't see anyone for another 20+ min so we left. It was pretty steady more of a crowd in the bar but it definitely wasnt jammed. 👎

Atmosphere was great and wait staff was accommodating. Appetizer was spoiled. Entree was subpar for the price. Good place for a cocktail and star gazing
