I’ve had such a great experience eating at this fantastic restaurant! I’ve eaten here my whole life and it never fails to disappoint! The hand rolls are out of this world and the miso soup is to die for! Eating here is an out of body experience and the waiters are so nice and attentive! I would fully recommend eating here and would not go to any other place to satisfy my insatiable appetite!

Going here for the first time was like something I’ve never experienced before. Everything from the teriyaki chicken to the miso soup to the sushi was immaculate. The service was phenomenal. Unlike the other sushi places I’ve been to, the sushi is wrapped very well and doesn’t fall apart when you pick it up. I never want to eat anywhere else ever again. The food choices are so diverse and I felt like emotional just eating it. I will be taking my kids here.

We got takeout, so can't really speak to the interior. Pickup was a little weird as no one was around to hand us our food. Eventually someone showed up, was a bit brusque, and then disappeared just as quickly.
The rice in the sake-don tasted a bit musty, although the soy sauce masked it. Had this dish many other times from other places with no issues.
The tempura flavor was a little off like the oil was too cold or old.
The actual presentation was quite good, although I'd take great flavors over pretty plating everytime.

Best sushi in providence -hands down. I’ve been coming here since maybe 2009 and I cannot think of a single time I’ve left disappointed. It’s great, no frills, authentic, delicious and appropriately priced sushi. ~$15 for a lunch special with two maki rolls, sashimi *and* soup and salad?? Undefeated!

Terrible service, no sense of treating a customer with consideration and respect. I went in today at 4:30 pm, well before a dinner rush. There were only two tables occupied. All outside tables were empty. Two booths and one table (all seating 4 people) empty inside. They insisted I sit at the table for 4, although it was clearly the worst available table, forcing me to sit either in the line of traffic as waitstaff come in and out of the room, or with my back directly to another guest's back. I asked to sit in one of the booths, and they refused, because 'it was going to get busy soon.'
To turn away one customer, or to give that customer the least comfortable seat when most other seats are available, and it is only mid-afternoon, is poor service.
This was my first time at Sakura. I was so dismayed and embarrassed by the inconsiderate service, I left without ordering.
Instead, I went to JAHUNGER, just down the street, and had a wonderful dinner, great service. I will go back to Jahunger in the future.
