Everything about Sawyer’s is absolutely lovely. The ambiance, the food, the drinks and the staff are all fantastic. Love the cozy neighborhood vibe and will definitely be back!

Love Sawyers! Favorite time to go there is early evening for a glass of wine and some aperitif. Sandwiches are great quality and freshly made. They are filling but not too heavy end your day at lunch. We recently tried their amazing breakfast sandwich. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Worth picking their brain about wine selection, they know their stuff. Their dinner pop ups are worth going out of your way for too! Great neighborhood spot, thrilled it’s there!

Nice vibe, yummy food, and quality produce, but DEFINITELY some room for improvement:

-somewhat misleading advertising for bagels on thursdays, but no toaster to make a bagel to eat in-house... bummer-- I would be willing to pay for a prepared, toasted bagel with cc, even if it is overpriced. Otherwise, may as well wait until the farmer's market later that day to get the exact same bagels for less money.
-breakfast sandwiches stop at 10:30 am??
-no lock on the bathroom, but music playing/people inside create noise. Not the best for the hard-of-hearing.
-no espresso... feels imperative for a cafe vibe open morning to evening.
-Expensive. This is definitely targeted to a yuppie demographic. would be cool to see less expensive options (for ex: a glass of wine under $10?).

Often the reasons for not being able to meet the above concerns is attributed to a lack of space and storage. However, the store feels quite empty, and I imagine there is underused space that could be activated.

I have gone there because I'm in community with people who work there, but otherwise I likely wouldn't go. I have faith Sawyer's could be really awesome! just not quite there, yet, in my book.

Fresh healthy food!
I got the lemonade drink (blueberry) and turkey sandwich 🥪 the combo was great! A little in the pricier side though

Cute spot but I wish they had espresso and some cheaper options 😋

When I wish I am a Spanish civil servant, I go here to cosplay as one after work: an excellent array of European and local drinks, delightful pastries, marinated olives, more ethically produced goods, gardening supplies… it’s genuinely a lovely get away. The patio out front is excellent. There’s also fabulous AC for bar seating and small tables. The refurbished interior is gorgeous.

Gorgeous old-timey neighborhood cafe’ and market. Plenty of ingredients to make a quick delicious meal for a date night or dining solo. The locally made fresh pastries are incredibly moist and flavorful. Especially the mushroom pocket and also the cinnamon Babka. They don’t have espresso yet, but their tea and coffee was really good and they have a decent selection of wine and sake. Their sandwiches & salads are delicious. We need more of these beautiful and nourishing spaces. Support your local small business. Loved the vibe here! ✨✨❤️

This is such a gem. Part of me hopes nobody finds out about it but man is it awesome. So many great options. It feels old school in here but the options are wonderful all the services terrific in the general vibe is super authentic. Highly recommend.

This place rocks. The mortadella sandwich is a must.

A wonderfully curated and elevated new addition to Providence on Broadway Street! I stopped in for a change of scenery for the day, and Sawyers was refreshing, to say the least! I enjoyed the niçoise salad and plum lemonade along with a coffee to round everything out! The salad was light, fresh, delicious, and a perfect portion! The dish was a nixe balance of fresh herbs, ripe vegetables, tomatoes, and tuna! The plum lemonade was sweet and a refreshing new take on lemonade that I hadn't had before! I will be coming back to spend my days working and continue exploring the menu! Also, the other half of the main room is a little market with fresh and organic ingredients! My compliments to the chef who guided my food choices and best of luck to the Sawyers team!

Sawyer's Market is waiting for you to experience it. It is waiting for you to enjoy a West End afternoon drinking a coffee or having a bite to eat. It really feels like an experience when you go there. There is a definite European feel that doesn't quite translate to anything you might find on the East Side.

There are fresh produce and some choice food items in the cooler section, some dry goods that may be tasty for those who are glutinous and gluten-free. I had seen a brand of potato chip that is rarely seen in the markets of Providence, and the Black Truffle flavor is always an earthy flavored favorite for some.

The drinks menu is only wine and beer. But the selection looks plentiful. There are still menu items that are not available, yet.

I only grabbed an iced coffee, but the service was quick, the atmosphere thoughtful, and the sidewalk table I sat at was a wonderful place to sit and think before the next busy moment.

Sawyer's Market is going to be a nice place to visit in the PVD area. I will be going back to try out their menu, but a nice afternoon coffee was enough for me to want to come back again!

Had the gorgeous, delicious, salade nicoise on the first day Sawyer's opened (a few days ago), and it was perfect. So good, tasty, and light. Also sampled the fish dip and it was fantastic. They have a good range of prices for drinks – I accidentally ordered the most expensive glass of white wine on the menu, but it was superb and I didn't regret it. Then I ordered a glass of wine half the price of the first, which was also great. There is a wonderful selection of curated food and food-related items to purchase in the market area...reminds me of the gift-shop-y-ness of Cluck! (for those who've been in the neighborhood long enough). Bravo to the team here for having the vision and energy to activate this long-dead corner of the neighborhood – bringing life to this end of Broadway is long overdue. I can't wait to go back with friends!
