Pleasantly surprised with this campus dining Hall. Has multiple options for breakfast, which is when we were there. Dietary options abound and staff can assist if needed.Vegetarian options: Numerous vegetarian options. There is an omelette station, breads, fruit, frittata and other items.Kid-friendliness: Kids can find plenty of things to eatWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, and staff can assist.Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate all dietary restrictions, but may need advanced notice for kosher, halal and others. Dairy friendly items all over.

Great people. If you're a Brown student just go eat there.

Students like to complain about their food. I have eaten in student dining halls in Germany, the UK and the US. When it comes down to food diversity and quality this dining hall is easily the best! No questions asked. The only negative is the somewhat steep pricing but quality has its price and so i am not overly upset.

What can one say about "the Ratty"? The food is decent by college cafeteria standards and the open space makes it friendly and festive. Of course as a returning alum it's all about the memories and traditions

The sassy, but welcoming white bean tomato soup was delightful. It paired incredibly with the fluffy fresh baked ciabatta roles. And don't forget to stop by the spice station to get some balsamic and olive oil for dipping! Also, if anyone has the recipe for the soup, please let me know! Highly recommend

Let me say I will be counting down the days until the next snow day and I want to thank the ratty for being my shelter from storm.

The pizza and dessert are always decent. Most of the other offerings are relatively bland with few exceptions. Not the worst food but never exceptional.
Very good food, selection and quality.
Extremely clean and well organized
