I met a close friend for dinner last night at the Smithfield Siena and it was wonderful! We enjoyed the white sangria and charcuterie board…both delicious. She also enjoyed the pasta special and I had the braised short ribs. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly! I wish I remembered her name. I will definitely be back. Happy holidays to your staff!

My family of 5 and I had dinner this afternoon for Easter in EG. Absolutely amazing day! Amy (I think) was our server.. she was phenomenal. The pace of the meal was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Easily my favorite restaurant.

After slow, inattentive service, bland, unimaginative food, and noisy & crowded atmosphere, it was especially entertaining when the owner showed up and started cussing out employees in the dining room. He reeked of alcohol and his pupils were the size of saucers.

My husband and I LOVE to eat here! Has been our favorite restaurant for many years! Usually go to the providence one but for obvious reasons haven’t been able to. We welcomed a baby in August and I decided since it was our baby’s first Christmas I did not want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking all day. We decided to order the Ham dinner off the Christmas menu! It was all absolutely amazing! The ham was so juicy and delicious, the cornbread casserole and the potatoes a gratin

I have had my birthday dinner for the last 4 yrs and it is my all time favorite restaurant. 5 out of 5 stars all day everyday. Fancy atmosphere but also somewhere you go to as a last minute decision place. The customer and staff are amazing and do make you feel out of place if you are wearing leggings and a sweatshirt. Will always recommend and suggest.

The food isn’t that much worse than what’s available at any number of popular chain restaurants, from the higher end through fast food (though I would much rather eat the Veal Chop at a Golden Corral than the Veal Chop at Siena). It’s more of a textural experience than a taste sensation, like eating a gummy, tasteless cloud. The sauce it’s precisely the type of liquid one might expect to find scrapped off the side of a hot steel buffet. If Sienas attitude shows a shallow respect for Italy, its haphazard cooking betrays the kind of overconfidence that grows from ignorance.

Their creme brulee never disappoints! Love this place.

Just got into town and decided to place a pick up order at Siena. I ordered 2 dishes, the Frutti De Mare and the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. I arrive at the restaurant and it turns out that my to-go order was never placed...so I'll have to wait for them to prepare it. Annoying, but not enough to be super mad about. It is late, and the hostess was pleasant about it. They even offered some bread along with the order because of the wait. Finally got my order and went to the hotel. Sigh, no utensils and no bread (seems petty to be upset at, but why offer...), but its finally time to eat!Now bolognese is usually a very savory tasty dish. Even their website description sets it up for greatness:"Delicate golden noodles tossed with a truly classic Bolognese sauce made with pork, pancetta, sirloin, diced vegetables, tomatoes and a touch of cream. Topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese."With that introduction, you would think this Bolognese will rock ya socks. But honestly, this dish as well been have been renamed Tagliatelle alla Oil since it was the only thing I could taste. Couldn't taste the pork. Nor the pancetta. Nor the sirloin. I question if there were vegetables or tomatoes. I know there was cheese, but I couldn't taste it beyond the oil filled horizon. The only thing preventing this from being 1 star, was the Frutti De Mare. You could tell that the seafood was good quality and fresh! The broth that this was cooked in had excellent flavor!
