Went with family of 4 shared dishes all were excellent. The Biryani was the best ever. I've tried that dish in so many places and Simha had the best I've ever tasted. Everything was delicious including the mango lassi. Definitely will be back thanks for the great Indian food

Food was great, some of the best Indian food in RI. The staff was very friendly and hardworking even with the restaurant filled with patrons. Prices were very reasonable and portions were just right to allow you to get a few different dishes to share, especially how good the food was. Looking forward to returning soon!

We recently dined at Siṃha Indian Kitchen & Bar and had an overall good experience.

We tried quite a few dishes — the Gobhi Garlic was flavorful and well-made, though a few bites were a little soggy. Paneer Tikka was classic and nicely done, served with a tasty green chutney. The Chicken Cheese Burst Kebab had good flavor and melted cheese in the middle, though the accompanying salad—especially the lettuce—was wilted and not as crispy as we would like.

The Dal Makhni was excellent — hot, creamy, and rich, like it had just come off the stove. Malai Kofta was flavorful, though a touch sweeter than our preference. Garlic Naans were warm and nicely seasoned, served cut up in a basket.

We also tried the Manchow Soup, which was perfect for a cold day. It tasted great, but it would have been even better if the crispy noodles were served on the side rather than mixed in — they lost their crunch quickly. The Chilli Garlic Fried Rice was well made and paired well with everything. We also tried Rose Lassi, which was good but leaned a bit more on the rose flavor and could use a hint more cardamom.

The ambience was inviting — clean, spacious, and with a lively bar setup. Service was attentive and polite. We had reservations, but it seemed we could have walked in without much wait. Only small suggestion: most Indian restaurants place spoons alongside the fork and knife, but here they were missing. Not a big deal, but worth noting.

Overall, Siṃha offers a good mix of traditional flavors with a modern vibe. We enjoyed our lunch and would be happy to visit again.

Very pleasant meal. Ordered lamb saag, butter naan, papadam and lychee martini. Asked for medium spice and they met my expectations. Enough spice to require bread but not uncomfortable to eat. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Our first time at Simh Indian Kitchen & Bar certainly won’t be our last! The Lychee Martini was delightfully served with a bubble on top, that burst just before I took my first sip that I then savored every drop of.

My Shrimp Tikka Masala was the best I’ve ever had. My husband’s Butter Chicken was so yummy he was eating the extra sauce with the spoon. The Chicken Cheese Kebab appetizer was 4 yummy chicken meatballs stuffed with cheese served with a slightly spicy green sauce that makes the dish.
Try the desserts! Different and delicious!

The vegetable pakora was absolutely delicious - light and crisp with a real flavor. Butter chicken had an amazing flavor with medium spice. Chicken tikka masala had wonderful robust flavor - delicious and sophisticated. We will be back!!

This will be the last time ordering from this restaurant. I spent $15 on a lunch meal and only received two small pieces of chicken for that price, it should have come with at least six. The salad that was supposed to be included wasn’t provided either.

When I picked up my order, the staff member complained because I asked for my meal to be packed separately, saying their bowls were “too expensive.” The way this was communicated to me was extremely rude and completely unnecessary. When I called later to explain that the portion was very small (mostly just sauce in the container), I was told that since I requested separate packaging, I received a smaller portion. I was even advised that next time I shouldn’t order separately if I want the “correct” portion size.

That explanation and attitude were unacceptable. The customer service was rude, the food was overpriced, and the portions were ridiculous. Definitely not worth the money — I won’t be coming back

Running scam through Uber eats. Advertised buy 1 get 1 but charge you full price when cancelled took the whole money. I will stay hungry but never going to use them.

Excellent Indian. Wait staff (Rajan and servers) were helpful, attentive, and courteous. Space is handsome. Food is not dumbed down and the spice levels were spot on. Very enjoyable meal and nice to finally have a go-to Indian restaurant downtown. Will definitely be back.
