I just had a fantastic experience at Somo Kitchen ! The udon noodles were cooked to perfection — that texture was spot on: soft , chewy , and deeply satisfying . I also tried the Desire sushi rolls , and they were so delicate and beautifully crafted . Each bite felt balanced and fresh . You can really tell the care that goes into the presentation and flavor here . This spot is definitely a new favorite . I’ll be coming back for sure !

My wife and I come here every so often to enjoy good sushi. When my first child was born, we ordered a platter from Somo cause my wife only wanted sushi. Two years later, our 2nd child was born and our entire families were home so we ordered a giant platter from Somo as well as other sides. This last time, the experience was the best. Nino was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best. We’re very glad we ordered from here and would definitely recommend it to anybody.

WOW! My first visit here and I will definitely be returning again! This is an amazing place for sushi! The great experience started as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the owner Nino or formally Elgheryany-San! We talked a little about our shared experiences living in Japan. The sushi was some of the freshest I have had in a long long time! And the Firecracker roil was beyond awesome! It was so flavorful! This place is a must visit for anyone in the area!!

Cool looking place but the food was highest priced low quality sushi I’ve had in Rhode Island so far. Service was not very attentive. Crab meat was fake and didn’t taste good. The high prices made me think I was getting ready for a treat but I’ve had better sushi at the grocery store. I don’t ever leave reviews but the disappointment was just too heavy to carry on my own lol

This was my third visit here, and the owner/chef very graciously accommodated my request to make a vegan tofu teriyaki dinner for me. It turned out absolutely delicious. They went above and beyond! The owner and staff are always so kind and attentive, wanting to be sure you have the very best dining experience. I will absolutely return again!
We finally found our go-to sushi spot! We will absolutely be back again and again. Our server Chris and the owner Nino were so warm and hospitable. It was an amazing meal and we can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Tried this place with my girlfriend this afternoon. Nice atmosphere and chris, the waiter was very welcoming and friendly.
Scanning thru the menu wasn't overwhelming like most sushi restaurants. We ordered the edamame, grilled oysters and the spicy tuna pizza off the “small plates,” and a new york strip off the “entrees,”
The edamame had come out first and had amazing flavor with a hint of sweetness. The grilled oysters were great! The spicy tuna pizza was absolutely out of this world! The way the rice crust had a nice crunch on the bottom and a nice soft and slightly chewy top was absolutely heavenly, the tuna was plentiful and the flavor was exquisite. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, served with a nice glaze and mashed potatoes.
Our overall experience was beyond a 5 out of 5. We are so happy we discovered this place. The price was very reasonable. We will be dining here regularly for sure. Thanks for the amazing dining experience!
Side note, my girlfriend had forgotten her scarf at the booth and didn’t even realize it. Chris ran after us before we got to our car with the scarf! We were so grateful.

I recently tried dining in at Somo Sushi, and from the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the clean, classy atmosphere. The host greeted me promptly and escorted me to my table, setting a positive tone for the night.
The service throughout the night was excellent. Our server was attentive, checking in regularly and providing thoughtful, friendly service. I started with the Korean dumplings, which were outstanding full of flavor and perfectly prepared.
For the main course, I ordered three rolls to share with my girlfriend, and they did not disappoint. Each roll was fresh, flavorful, and made to perfection. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service.
