If hearing the n word every other song is your thing then this is your place. We were there for a drink a 6pm and every song was like that. The bartender was nice hence the 2 stars.

Came to watch the pacers game with a couple friends. Drinks were decent if you don’t mind waiting five minutes to speak with a bartender. Atmosphere is cool, a pretty young crowd if that’s your vibe. My only real complaint is how I watched a bouncer go out of their way to physically escalate a situation with a non-combative patron who was clearly too drunk to understand what was going on. Probably shouldn’t be working security if your temper is that hot.

We visited thanks to the ri food fight event. I saw the reviews ahead of time and was unsure what to expect. My mind was blown, smash burgers are my thing and it was one the best I've had in a while. It was a double patty with the right amount of cheese. They have great fries also. Friends got the chicken sandwich and they were eaving about it. I can't comment on that it is like later at night, but during the day it would be a great place to catch a game!

Food is excellent, I wouldn't think of it as a restaurant more of a bar. But I will definitely order takeout from here. The short time I was there, Ethan was my server/bar tend. Excellent personality. Atmosphere got a 4 star because music was very loud.

We stopped in as part of the RI food fights Burger Blowout and were served by a wonderful server named Ethan. Not only were our smash burgers delicious, but Ethan really went out of his way to make it the most comfortable dining experience possible for us! The Burgers were definitely a hit loaded with American cheese, two patties, lettuce, tomato, and a delicious Mac sauce. Parking is a little tricky, but the burger is worth the trip or two around the block!

Right at the door it’s literally homeless people trash but inside is the nicest waitress and an amazing chef serving possibly the best big mac style gourmet burger in the world and, oh yeah, also perfect fries. I’ve only been once but it was above next level.
The prices are really competitive and the quality is way above lots of more expensive places we’ve been.

I am a regular at S&L. I recently had my sister’s surprise birthday party here. It was PERFECT!! Ethan was absolutely amazing. He is perfection behind the bar. But he also runs around making sure all patrons are happy and taken care of. He strives to give his customers an amazing experience. S&L is lucky to have someone like Ethan. He is one of the reasons I continue to come back!! He takes the time to get to know the customers and never forgets a name or what you are drinking. Thank you Ethan, for making the party a success. You truly are amazing!!

My visit was on an NFL Sunday afternoon so obviously the games we’re playing but I would definitely like to return on another night when they have music playing instead. Saying that the service and beer selection was excellent and the interior although large still has a nice cozy feeling.

I don’t understand how you turn people away an hour before you close. I work in the restaurant industry and I refer people to your bar all the time & it’s common courtesy to allow people who work in Providence as well to come in your facility. I guess if you know Oscar you’re good. Absolutely terrible service at the door. Obviously you don’t want people to spend money at your bar. Be better and support other Providence restaurants/bars.

I recently attended a professional event at Sport and Leisure Bar in Providence, and it was a good experience. The bar has a nice atmosphere, good for both casual events and business meetups. And it’s in a really good location.
