We went there after seeing the restaurant on social media. The atmosphere inside is modern bad thing is not the greatest neighborhood. Server forget to tell us that they did not have sushi that day so we settled on the Arancini as an app was fantastic and split the pasta with mushroom and Burrata with truffle sauce which was also delicious

I came here with a party of 12 for my friend’s birthday on 6/13/25 @around 8pm. They started off by saying how they will try to accommodate our party. We made this reservation a week ago, so it felt off how they said this when they knew in advance we were coming. No big deal but the manager on shift it seemed like she just did not want us there at all.
We got to the table and waited for the rest of our party to get there. Server came over and ask to grab our drinks, but the manager came over and interrupted her saying that she can’t grab our drinks until the rest of the party comes. Pretty strange and off putting, majority of the people in our party are servers and have never heard of this.
Eventually the server came back and grabbed our drinks when we were still waiting for the rest of the party. If it was an issue with some of our party being late we would have been able to put everyone’s food order in but nothing was communicated. Unfortunately it took an EXTREMELY long time to get our drinks and the restaurant was not that busy based on what we can see. We all understand that there are nights where there may be understaffing and just being busy in general. But nothing was communicated at all. One of the girls in our party ordered a margarita and it took 30 minutes to get it.
Food came out and one person in our party had to wait 10 minutes before they brought her sushi over, the server forgot what she got while everyone else was eating. We were all just over it and wanted to leave.
Like what was stated before, majority of us in our party are servers working in high volume restaurants. If things were simply communicated this whole thing would of been a different and better experience. The manager there looked miserable and should definitely treat their customers better. Unfortunately we didn’t even get to order desert and sing happy birthday for my friend. We all are extremely disappointed.

My friends and I went to Strive for dinner. The location and interior are really nice.
Our experience unfortunately was not as nice. We had a reservation for 7:30 we were seated around 7:40. Everything went down hill from there. It was very clear that they were understaffed for the amount of people. Our waitress was kind and was trying her best but service was very slow. We got our drinks in a timely manner but the food took so long! We were seated at 7:40 but got our entrees around 9:45. Over 2hrs just to get food that was mid! The meatballs tasted like they were from the grocery store, the bacon wrapped scallops were over cooked, my steak tips & mashed potatoes were very greasy, my friends shrimp was undercooked and she got sick from it. My other friend had the vodka pizza and it was extremely bland
Overall the place is beautiful but the service and food were not up to par. Maybe they had a bad night but our experience left a bad taste and I won’t be returning.

Wow I really was looking forward to a great experience, first thoughts place was nice, the aesthetic was pleasing and the hostess was nice.
Once seated we waited a while before our waitress came to us, took our drink order and that took a long time. Drinks were good so that was a plus!
When it was time to order food the things we asked for they did not have and she just laughed and said she forgot to tell us, we waited so long for the appetizers we almost forgot we ordered some, she explained the kitchen was backed up but people seated after us was getting their food so that kind of rubbed us the wrong way. Same thing happened with the food it seems like if we didn’t ask for updates the food wouldn’t have came. We was seated at around 7:40 and did not get our entrees until after 9:45.
The food was subpar I had ordered the mushroom rigatoni and added shrimp, the shrimp was undercooked I just packed up my food after waiting so long couldn’t really enjoy it, and one meal had to get sent back but because the wait was so long we didn’t order another. We didn’t feel like a priority with our waitress as we saw people that arrived way after us eat and leave and we was still waiting to pay. I really wanted to enjoy strive, maybe one day I’ll try again but not anytime soon.
We did get comped a drink for the wait but it didn’t really make up for the experience.

We waited for over 10 minutes w no one talking to us until they said they were closed for an event… the dining room was full and there were no posted signs or anything about an event. Never coming back.

Absolutely 💯 top notch food and experience. Our server was extremely professional and A+, it honestly felt like we were In a fancy Beverly hills restaurant. Our brunch was filling and yummy. Will be back for dinner at some point.
