Place was ok. Brunch menu online is completely different than their actual brunch menu.
Service was ok. We only ordered a cocktail and truffle fries because we were lured under false pretenses with the brunch menu being COMPLETELY different than what is on their website.
Truffle fries were 10/10 however and cocktail was good.
Overall, maybe we would go back but it really bothers me that the online menu was different. Parking lot was also weird.

Our first time eating at Strive Kitchen and bar. We went for the Brunch but instead we chose what I believe to be the best Chicken Parm in the city and the Penne with Vodka sauce was delicious.

As our waitress was the only one in the whole restaurant, she had a party of 18 upstairs, and 5 downstairs (2-4 people), she was running her butt off! Super nice trying so hard to keep up! The bartender was making drinks left and right! What was the owner doing? Sitting at the bar with a couple talking - making this again one couple drinks showing off his shaking skills then taking sips of the drink behind the bar!!!! AS YOUR EMPLOYEE IS RUNNING HER BUTT OFF SWEATING SERVING YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! - DO BETTER!!!! No wonder you have have underage freshman lining up at 10pm at your door!!

This place is a disgrace! My daughter was served a dish made with cashew oil after she told them 2x she had a tree nut allergy, she was assured it was not free! She went into anaphylactic shock. She was vomiting in the bathroom, no one called 911 or checked on her. The manager hid in the back. Then had the nerve to still charge her friends for the bill! She spent the next 6 hours in the hospital. I called the owner today, and he was disrespect, rude and dismissive! The resturant needs to be shut down! The staff clearly is not trained well to run a restaurant! The next time a mistake is made like this, the outcome could be fatal!

Had a delicious dinner at Strive tonight. 1st time here The Steak Crostini was out if this world delicious, top quality steaks so tender with a perfect brandy & shallot cream sauce. This is a must choice for appetizers. Truffle fries with parm cheese and garlic aioli and Chipotle aioli sauce were perfect, cool sidewinder cut. We ordered the watermelon basil mule and strawberry basil bourbon lemonade both so good. We also ordered the creamy grilled steak pizza on focaccia bread and the fig & prosciutto with arugula, goat cheese and candied pecans . Both great. Had to take a bunch home because serving size is so generous. Our waitress was wonderful and told us about their adjacent coffee bar and brunch. Our new top 3 restaurants to keep in the rotation. Compliments to the Chef!!!!

I went with a group of 4 to Strive and overall, the experience was great! We went on a Tuesday so the restaurant was very quiet but I would imagine mid-summer mid week has a lot to do with it. Their service was good and food was excellent. The design and renovation done on the building was so well done.
I'm certainly no expert, but it's not in the best of neighborhoods. My hope is that the trend to develop more of the places around Strive will help. They also have a coffee shop adjacent which looks appealing to try during the day. I'd say give Strive a shot if you are looking for something new!
